Good position .. good setting

Poorly maintained, run down, was probably very good at one time and could be again if some money spent

The room was refurbished and nice, the sheets were clean and crisp etc. They clearly made an effort with the furnishings, check in was very straight-forward and friendly. Close to motorway and supermarkets. Lovely views.

The duvet itself was dirty and needs to be replaced, and water bubbles out of the bathtub drain when you flush the toilet. The breakfast was just sad and the coffee maker was dirty - would not recommend. I'm giving a "good" rating because they clearly made an effort with the rooms and it was clean, you can definitely get a good night's sleep here, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a holiday.

Absolute shocking. Room was very small considering had a double and did not look anything like the picture online.. When checking in had to ring mobile numbers as no one at front desk. When going to room the corridor smelt of urine. And I was told breakfast was included in my booking one small box of cereal! That’s not very good. Very dirty and not clean Poor service would not recommend unless very desperate

Clean bedding and clean towels

Everything else was filthy - carpets, windows, toilet, floors.

Breakfast was rubbish. just a few things put out on a table Nothing cooked or warm to eat

It was cheap and close to Wooton Basset and main roads. It was quiet. The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. A fan was provided.

You definitely get what you pay for. The hotel had obviously been really nice in the past but has fallen on hard times. The outside was unkempt with peeling paint and overgrown lawns and borders. Breakfast was poor. The drains gurgled alarmingly when anyone flushed the loo.

Said in the blurb that rooms & looked lovely said rooms had views shower, hairdryer & fan in rooms that included breakfast! A showed a resterant etc a lovely gardens the only window was in bathroom. No fan so room was roasting hot asked for one but didn’t have one as hotel being sold but they did produce hairdryer breakfast was a loaf butter jam! Shower well you couldn’t stand up in & had to hold spray to use!
