After a long a weary journey, we arrived late at night, and from the moment we checked in, this hotel has been perfect. I have traveled all over the world and lived in 6 countries, including Russia and Ukraine, and USA. No where have I experienced better service, cleaner room, or a friendlier staff that wished to please it's guests. The food in restaurant is excellent and breakfast quite impressive. Don't miss the Sunday morning buffet filled with Ukrainian delights. A true gem for the foreign traveler. The staff speaks english and has been eager to help me find anything I need in this beautiful charming city. All their referrals have proven of high quality and have made my stay much more enjoyable. The hotel is a beautiful property in an ideal location in the city, just a few blocks from the walking street, surrounded with small cafes and shopping and food markets where you can find all you need. Do not miss your chance to visit Poltava and stay in this lovely hotel.

Beautiful place to stay and the only place you should stay while in Poltava

I visited Poltava for personal reasons and decided to stay here because I was told it was the best hotel in the city. I found the location to be great and getting around was easy by either walking or using a taxi. The service staff was fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious every morning. The only thing I did not like was when I took a shower or bath. No matter what time of day it was, the water would heat up to the point where it was unbearable, then cool down, then heat up, then go cold. I had to shower with one hand on the handle to keep adjusting the temperature.

I would definitely come back and will. Beautiful place.

This was a great find, and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff, in particular, is fantastic, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant has excellent food. The hotel is centrally located, yet quiet late at night. The price is right. Since it is located in a former mansion surrounded by other buildings, there is presumably no way to expand the premises to include a pool or other extra fitness facilities. The training/weight room looks a little old but has modern equipment. The minibars in the rooms are adequate but nothing fancy. I didn't try room service. Very nice place.

I stayed here 20 nights and got looked after extremely well. My room was comfortable, the food in the restaurant is great. I've stayed here twice now in the last 6 months and would not hesitate to come back again. It's so convenient for everything. The hotel has much to offer at the right price. All the staff are a delight and made my stay more enjoyable. I always highly recommend this hotel and give it my ultimate rating.

All the people were too friendly! If I have the opportunity to return there of course I will stay again here. They made me feel like in home.
