Best hotel in the city very near to Melbourne central station and rmit uni very clean rooms and also very comfortable would stay again in the future

What an awful place. The pictures do not reflect the reality of this hotel. We checked in at the reception that looked pretty acceptable for a reception but then found out we were actually staying next door in what seemed like a neglected building. There was broken glass and litter on the corridors on the way to our room. Our 4 bed apartment was like a hostel with an old bed in each room and a lamp on the floor, a couple of rooms had an old bedside table. The floor was filthy, so filthy it was sticky, we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Everything was worn and slightly run down. We didn't use the kitchen due to the cleanliness. When we checked out we heard another guy complaining about his floor being dirty and the receptionist acted like it was the most unusual complaint ever.

The photos on the website and booking pages are a complete lie. My "deluxe 1 bedroom apartment" was nothing like what was shown or described online. It didn't even match up to the standard studio or one bedroom they advertised. My room was a studio with old furniture that wasnt in the best condition, but the most disappointing aspect was the bathroom. No shower curtain, no towel rail and not even a toilet roll holder. The bathroom and toilet got soaked every time I had a shower. Very frustrating. It wasn't a bad place, it was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful, but the blatant false advertising is beyond a joke. A bit of honesty would have been appreciated. The location is good but that’s really one of only a very few positives to this place. Parking was decent value and the reception area was nice. Don’t be fooled though, that niceness does NOT transfer to the rest of the building. The tiny “deluxe” apartment was really just a standard hotel room with kitchenette that had a couple extra walls added to form 2 bedrooms you could barely turn around in (described by a friend as a “jail” cell we could thankfully exit). There was no hand towel, no storage for luggage other than under the bed and a tiny kitchen table with 2 chairs for a room that sleeps 3 people! I could almost touch the beds from the table also. Tiny futon too that was acting as a “couch” that 3 adults also wouldn’t fit on. There was also a strand of somebody else’s hair in the freezer. The whole building stank and one of the elevators was out of order so we found ourselves travelling down to reception with the cleaning staff and their large, stinky bins. The pool looked nice but ok closer inspection had something (unsure if pollen from something or a weird scum/film) floating on top. No poolside chairs or anything either. Definitely not worth the premium that we paid. We changed hotels a couple hours after checking in hoping that after something to eat our views would change. No such luck. When we advised reception why we were checking out there was no offer of room change, apology for our concerns or resolution offered. We were just told we would be refunded. We still had to go back regarding the refund after 24hrs and were advised it hadn’t been processed!! TRAVELLER BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE NOTHING DELUXE ABOUT IT

The service was really good and every satff was polite and helpful it has its own gym access and pool access and i really enjoyed

We stayed as a couple and the staff was very friendly, who ensured the check in process was very smooth! We had a very long flight and Yashika helped us with an early checkin since we were exhausted. Maddy and Nick were available always to help us out with recommendations and were the perfect hosts. Definitely stay here on your visit! The tram is right in front providing excellent connectivity! Rooms were very tidy and spacious. The atmosphere was lively with a 24*7 running reception. Overall it was great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Arrow on Swanston! The apartment was cozy, warm, and very comfortable; it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is excellent, right in the heart ot the city, making it easy to get around anc access all our essentials. The staff were exceptionally.

Conveniently located near the train station, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and friendly. It features a cozy coffee shop on the ground floor, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
