Staff is good. Parking is a bonus and although my partner found it a little challenging as our room was right next the banquet hall & loads if young people making loud noise all hours/fridge did not work & bathroom had mould, we managed it. For the price at last minuite one cabnot complain. Sometimes its good people that make a place so it was managable.

Simple hotel, slightly tired around the edges, but good value and some reasonable restaurants in walking distance

Good value. Excellent amenties such as microwave in room, fridge, iron board & iron. Quite an old [ we are appreciate the beauty of old buildings] building but given the price and limitations of what it would cost to renovate the hotel was more than reasonable. We felt safe, the room was huge & clean.

On arrival there was no receptionist to check me and my partner in had to wait 30mins for 1 to come which lead to a queue and envelope though there was a no smoking policy the hotel smelled very strong of weed the room was even more disappointing it looked nothing like was being advertised the building and room were very run down didn’t feel safe our room was on the ground floor and the was no net curtains or frosted window to give privacy

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Broken furniture, old and uncomfortable mattress, old and dirty carpet, walls in need of a repaint, I would never stay there again. Cheap and nasty. Looks good in the pictures which were obviously taken when the hotel was new. Clearly there has been no upkeep.

Remember when you visit to take your own bedding and be prepared to clean your own room 😂

We stayed Friday until Monday. On first arriving the reception was clean and presentable. There was 2 couples in-front for check in. However this taken about 30 minutes before we seen. The corridors and lifts away from reception where present very well and the carpets we badly stained. The room had a funky smell when we first opened the door, so allowed the room to air out by opening the windows. The bed sheets where clean, one bed was extremely uncomfortable and made loads of noise with the slightest movement. The carpet was stained. The smell remained in the room the full weekend and we had to keep the window open when we where out. The shower was either roasting or freezing with no power at all to it. The handles of the bath room door was loose and my friend got locked so we choose not to close the door completely. On our second morning, the windows ledge next to the lift someone had left a massive spit of green junk, house keepers where not interested when I reported it to them. Surprisingly the fridge we didn’t expect to be in our room was very clean inside

Room and corridors constantly smelling of cigarettes and weed. Room moved 3 times consistent smell. Minimal mattress depth could feel the hard bed frame underneath. Disturbed sleep From smokers setting off the fire alarm at 3am. No hot water in the showers. After fire alarm no fire warden presence to direct us safety out the building. When asking for keys to re enter our room no proof required - genuine safety risk. Not value for money

Not like the photos. Loud at night. Armed police came there on the night. Smoke alarms in the middle of the night. Definitely will never stay here again. Overall not a nice hotel.
