Casa Anjuna

Unfortunately, the upkeep of this hotel has started to be neglected. This was the second time I've stayed there and I won't be staying there again. The house itself is beautiful, but it is very neglected.

Casa Anjuna is a really nice hotel, in the middle of a beautiful garden, decorated with nice old furnitures. The place has a lot of charm and you can fully relax there. The pool is beautiful as well and taking the breakfast by the pool was a fantastic way of starting our day! They serve good breakfast with different options every day. We wish that we could have stayed longer in Casa Anjuna!

One thing which could be improved is the team taking care of the room cleaning: they do the minimum, forget to bring back new towels or water.... This is not aligned with the standard of the hotel. On the other hand, the staff at breakfast is nice and friendly.

Property is situated in a nice location with lot of good places to eat and drink nearby. It’s situated close to beach as well (5-7 min walk). Pool is very good and star room was big and spacious. Layout of property is good with country side feel and it’s secluded and quiet as well

Room was not clean on arrival and window was not shutting properly which allowed rats to enter the room. But the staff was very polite and courteous and they did a deep cleaning realised the window after we pointed it out to them. Breakfast spread is decent, quality can be improved a bit.

Beautiful Portuguese villa with lush gardens and excellent swimming pool.

On the surface it is a stunning property but it is not well maintained and some staff are not up to the level expected for a property with the price level of Casa Anjuna. Room air con was old and not cooling, no fridge in room, no TV, never any towels by the pool (had to ask and even when staff saw you swim but have no towel they did not think to bring one), front reception desk usually unattended so have to go looking for staff, breakfast menu choices have been reduced compared to previous times. Overall it is a nice place to stay but for the price there are improvements needed
