Alexander Guesthouse

It was a very simple & basic 2-3 star hotel, proving a place to sleep. We stayed here for one night before heading to Munich in the next morning, so it was not too bad, but we would not definitely stay for more than 1 night. Not comfortable with the amenities provided and the tiny tiny room. The hotel is located right by the Old Town, which was great. Other than that, nothing to say. Too bad. The staff at the reception was very helpful.

Booked to stay in guesthouse but when we arrived and we were given the key we were told (not offered) by a very unapologetic receptionist we had been 'upgraded' to a room in the hotel...sounds good...but...the room was tiny and was not soundproof as advertised...but the real kicker was according to the hotels paperwork everyone who stayed in a room in the hotel got complimentary breakfast. But we had to pay, which put a big downer on the stay. Wish we had returned the key and said we wanted the room we booked.

This was a cheaper hotel in a very expensive city. It was located very centrally near the railway station and in the old city. Room was a good size but two single beds and a very poor pillow. Had to pay for breakfast which should be included. Room was hot and noisy because the prostitutes gather in the street. No aircon made the room hot.

awesome location close to train and old city area

I needed a place to sleep and this hotel fit the bill. I would have no problem staying here again. It is close to the train station and some good nightlife.

reasonably close to train station, did not like being separated from main hotel. wifi did not work in room.the german female receptionist camt remember her namewas the best help possible when our credit card was denied, trying too book another hotel. she is worth more money.

Very good apart from room being very jot at night

Friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Location nice only one street from great restaurants
