AluaSoul Ibiza - Adults Only

We have had a lovely time here and would happily return. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a blue moscato (think prosecco but sweeter) drink, which impressed us. The room key is on a wristband, which denotes whether you're half board or all inclusive. We thought this was sensible, much less chance of losing it. We had a regular room which looked out onto the car park but also had a sea view if we looked to the right. I had been concerned about the toilet, given certain reviews. I imagined it to be in the middle of the room for all to see - it was not. There was a glass door to it. Perhaps those that complained about it did not like the gap between the top of it and the ceiling? The gap was about 6 inches. Wi-Fi was good for us in our room, more intermittent by the pool. People did put their towels on the sunbeds, but at 9am, there were still loads free. We were in a standard room, sea-view rooms had an infinity pool and sunbeds to themselves in addition to the other 3 pools. We started half-board but upgraded to AI for the last 6 days of our break (€30 per person per day). The meals are buffet style with more than enough choice for us. The evening meals were themed, e.g., Spanish Night, Italian Night, so although some foods were always present, e.g., pizza, chips, a lot of it changed. So many different fruits and salads, 4 ice cream choices which changed every lunch and dinner & so many different cakes - I heartily recommend the Tiramisu cake - yum! The staff were very hardworking and friendly. They were always patient with me when I practised my Spanish with them - I'm not as fluent as I'd like to be. We never had to wait long for our plates to be taken away. If you stay longer than so many nights you get the chance to eat at the a la carte restaurant which belongs to the hotel, but beware to book it well in advance. We were told at least 48 hours, but this was too late for us - we didn't know it wasn't open on a Monday or Tuesday, and our last night of Wednesday was fully booked. We weren't too bothered by this, the buffet has such a wonderful selection and the view across the bay is phenomenal. The hotel is well placed on the seafront and we saw some beautiful sunsets and sunrises during our stay. We took the ferry from the stop outside the hotel on the seafront to Ibiza Town. The sea was a little choppy but it was a good excursion. We also went to the Saturday market at Las Dalias on the Little Train. This goes from a square quite close to the hotel. The bus stops are there too. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel after reading some of the reviews. Don't let these put you off

Buffet choice good,but could do with food label type of meat at cooking station.Plenty umbrellas but could do with shaded area in superior room area . Room not keen on lack of privacy toilet and shower area .Had serious difficulty opening door to balcony reported not fixed . Why supply Nespresso Machine and no cups only large mugs , asked at recption and told we know this🤔 i had to go and buy a cup 🤨 Good point room kept clean friendly staff mostly . Evening entertainment good

My husband and I have just come back from a week in Alua soul in es Cana Ibiza ,we had a fantastic time it is our second visit and we love it , the food is very good and enough choice for everyone.The staff are great ,helpful and friendly. Now for the negative I think there could be more attention to the shower and toilet areas in the room.

On arrival you are welcomed by very competent staff at the check in desk everything is thoroughly explained and your attention is drawn to the app of the hotel which gives you info on the hotel etc. The pool areas are very clean and spacious so you don’t feel pressed in or overcrowded the poolside staff are very attentive and friendly. The room we had a junior suite which included a very large balcony with chairs and recliners . The bed was huge and towels and bottled water was replaced every morning . The beach was a mere 50 meters away with a selection of restaurants and bars the loungers and umbrella was a tad expensive 25 euro and generally the drinks at the town watering holes were expensive a rum and coke and a simple cocktail 23 euros . Getting back to the hotel restaurant the food was varied and well cooked with a good selection of cakes etc all in all a great hotel and beach town to completely relax in would definitely recommend to friends and family

Alua Soul is 10/10 on every aspect! This is my 3rd stay here, I wanted to treat my Dad for his 85th birthday and my Mum for her 75th biirthday and I couldn't think of a better place to do it. We all had the most amazing week away at Alua Soul. The hotel is fresh, clean and beautiful and all of the staff are the stars of the show no matter where they worked they made you feel welcome and special. The food and drink is delicious, fresh and changes all the time. Thank you to everyone at Alua Soul, we will e back. Big Love xxx

This was our second time here and it was just as good as last year. My boyfriend (50) and I (41) stayed on an All Inclusive basis. We weren't happy with the room we were given initially as it was far too small (a corner room). Much smaller than last years room even though it was the same room type (Double Room with Pool View). A quick word with reception and they changed it straight away with no fuss. The 2nd room was perfect, just like last year. Yes, the rooms are little worn in areas but this is to be expected as it's been several years since their last refurb but they are clean and comfortable. Hopefully another refurb is on the cards soon though! Spent most of our time by the pool, lovely & relaxing with subtle music in the background. There was a DJ set by the pool a couple of times throughout the week, very enjoyable. The weather was HOT and the pool was great to cool down in. One of the pools has a chair lift for anyone that needs assistance getting in/out the pool. We had a massage each again from Maria Jose. She is amazing and worth every penny! Highly recommend you give her a visit. There were more drinks/brands included on AI this year so that was a bonus! All the bar staff work very hard, some served drinks to your lounger too. I don't think this is an advertised service so please don't be disappointed if you don't get asked. I asked once whilst the empties were being collected and they checked with us if we wanted another drink a couple of times but most of the time we went to the bar. The Lifeguard worked hard also, providing towels from his station and looking after the bali beds. He occasionally had to remind people that drinks aren't allowed in the pool. The buffet restaurant was delicious. Lots to choose from. The staff were quick to clear the tables and kept drinks topped up. There is a self serve station but during lunch & dinner they regularly provided table service. Reception staff and housekeeping were great. The evening entertainment wasn't really our cup of tea, but we thought the Elton John night was brilliant, a great end to our week. The only slight negatives for us is that there are no designated smoking zones around the pool and bar. This is just a personal preference but won't stop us from returning. Also the pool loungers are quite grubby. Some more than others. Not an issue really when your towels are down but some are very worn and uncomfortable. Ideally they'd be replaced with brand new. And not enough tables for everyone either. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable week and we cannot wait to return, hopefully next year for a longer stay. Thank you all for a wonderful stay 🥰

Hotel when you enter is a really nice hotel. The rooms are a different thing. The bathroom is not practical at all. A toilet cubicle, a shower cubicle both with glass doors and the sink in the actual bedroom. The food was good and the location. The worst thing was all sunbeds gone before pool opened at 10am then people not on beds until later afternoon. This is a disgrace and towels should be removed. We had to pay for a bali bed €20 for the day to watch beds taken and no one on them until late afternoon. Not sure i would go this hotel again

Just returned from a weeks stay at this fantastic hotel. Everything about it was superb from the moment we arrived till the minute we left. Smooth & simple check in, great food & drinks selection & great hard working staff throughout the hotel. Spotlessly clean and a lovely room with a pool view. Pools and pool area clean with plenty of sunbeds. The location is also just perfect with the beach just across the pedestrianised road. We stayed all inclusive & the food, drink & service was brilliant. If you are thinking of booking a holiday here just do it. Can't recommend it highly enough

Just returned from another holiday at this hotel. This was the 4th time we have visited here and we will definitely be returning in the future. We had a lovely welcome from Jasmine who recognised us from our previous stays and the service from all of the staff at the hotel was friendly and very good. With regards to the food there was plenty of choice and quality was good. With all of the above and with it's great location right next to the beach, I would definitely recommend this hotel for any people thinking of booking a holiday here 😊 This is one of the many photos I took this holiday 📸

My 2nd visit to the hotel and had another lovely stay. Unfortunately the standard of cleanliness could be improved. For 2 days our room was barely touched. Beds made but shower,sink,cups etc not cleaned. Our wet towels were not removed from shower floor so obviously shower not washed. Pool side tables and area between the sun loungers could do with a wipe over every night but didn't see them wiped in 2/3 days so hey were sticky each morning and we had to wash them ourselves. Not the standard you should expect from a 4 star hotel. Such a shame as a fab location. Food very good especially breakfast. Entertainment at night also very good with fantastic staff. The drain smell in our room morning and early evening is also becoming a major issue which I did report twice but it's obviously a much bigger issue in the hotel drainage system.
