The guesthouse's location is good for taking public transport to tourist spots at Keswick, Derwentwater and Ambleside.

We had a lovely stay. The owners were very friendly. Frank gave us many useful tips for exploring the area. Everything was very clean and well presented. The only downside was that the WiFi didn't work properly in our room (but I was very impressed with USB plugs in the room!). Breakfast is only at 8.30am which could cause a bit of stress and more flexibility on this would be probably welcomed.

An absolutely delightful B&B, especially for the price. The location is great, not too far from the train station and the city, but in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood, with good restaurants and shops close. The hosts are wonderful. Breakfast is cooked for you every morning and is delicious. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions on what to do and explore. I had a delightful stay, and can't recommend this place highly enough.

Nice weekend break, owners were friendly & easy going, parking easy in a busy tourist centre, everything clean and well maintained with nice garden.

A beautifully presented, very clean and relaxed B&B in the heart of Windermere. Our hosts were very hospitable and friendly with great knowledge of the area and local activities. Our room was very comfortable, with ample wardrobe space and a nice shower room with toiletries and towels provided. We had several choices for breakfast and opted for the full English on both days which was delicious. The house is well looked after with a beautifully maintained garden and outside seating area. Our stay was relaxing and really enjoyable and we will definitely be returning here next time we go walking.

The b+b was lovely so clean and in excellent condition, however the only thing that was quiet upsetting was you didn't get s choice for breakfast, it was just put out for when you went downstairs and I was vegetarian so had to give all the meat to other people. Frank was really good he was so friendly with all of us!

The College B&B is ideally situated to the local amenities. Just two minutes walk from Windermere train station which also facilitates as a bus interchange for the local bus company who run frequent buses to Bowness, Ambleside, Grasmere, Lancaster etc. The College B&B is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are a variety if cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as shops and a local chippy within 2 minutes walk. I would definately return to the College B&B
