The Manor at Puerto Galera

What can I say to this hotel? Amazing and superb accommodation. Courteous and Friendly staff! Peaceful and Relaxing. Great experience! I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Price is great too. Thank you The Manor!

This hotel needs a lot of improvements. I spoke to the owner as well, he is a really nice guy and trying his best Only common area had internet whereas on the website it stated that it has wifi in the rooms as well The mashed windows open by itself due to wind. Need to have better window handles Hotel would not take credit card at the hotel. Water in the taps or shower stops sometimes. I had to request for water on 3 occasions This hotel is far from action. you have to take a tricyle for everyplace so if you are here for a romantic reason away from crown then this is good else its a ride to all the tourists attractions

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Manor. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice view of the pool. There was a fully stocked mini fridge with a nice array of goodies. The staff at the Manor was EXCELLENT! Particularly the gentleman at the front desk & the morning kitchen staff, nicest people. My only complaints were the spotty wifi and the fact that they made a huge fuss about us paying with a credit card. As a small business owner, I found it annoying that nowhere in their materials did it say that credit cards were not accepted or that there was a minimum. I understand that there is often a small fee incurred with the use of a credit card but it seemed trivial considering we were being good customers/consumers of above mentioned mini fridge goods. All in all, still a good value. Great bfast included!

The staff were all nice. The problem is food and location. I thought the meaning of beachfront is as soon as you go out the hotel there will be beach in front of the hotel, but what it exactly meant is literal, it faces the beach that is so far. The hotel is located in the mountain, so if you want to go to beach it is mountain trail going down and returning to hotel, climb up.

Excellent nature location, beautiful building. I learned that the hotel is bankrupt. Always there are power cuts almost everyday. Isolated location yet stunningly beautiful. The hotel restaurant service was not so good. Very unprofessional.

The Hotel uses Cell phone for business phone, so it was difficult to establish initial contact. But once contact was established (via sms) no problems. The Staff was great, able to fulfill all requests, even flowers and champagne at the last min

This is the best facility my wife and I have ever stayed in. The hotel is close (within walking distance) of the Muelle Pier in Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines. The facility is set on a hillside with a breathtaking overlook of the bay and surrounding area. The hotel and grounds are well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff was very warm and welcoming and immediately made accommodations for us upon arrival allowing us to check out late the next day with no additional charge. The room was very comfortable and clean and well decorated. The views from the room were amazing. The restaurant only had covered outdoor seating which was great for us because the weather was just right. The food was delicious with the only drawback of the whole experience being that they were out of some items and so the full menu was not available. The location was quiet and peaceful. This is the best vacation getaway in the Philippines!

Upon arrival we were to call the hotel and be picked up at the Ferry Terminal. Instead of sending a Van or Truck they sent a "tricycle" (Motorcycle with side car) to pick us up with all of our luggage because the owner was using the Hotel F150. It was very uncomfortable and not a good way to start the stay. Once we got settled in, though, we had a pleasant 2 days. The food in the little restaurant is very good and the prices are quite reasonable. The pool is very clean and nice, and, as stated, the view is excellent. When we were taken back to the Ferry Terminal it was in the Ford F150! We would stay there again.

Rooms were great and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Main pool wasn't finished so that was disappointing. No bar or nightlife. Guests were invisible. Hotel was not located near beach. Tricycle ride to everywhere. Food was great.

Had a great time at the Manor, Very relaxing and a beautiful place. Service was great. Close to everything. Would recommend for couples.
