The view was nice. The aera was nice.

I have a disabled son in a wheelchair. I booked this hotel due to the fact it had an elevator. I called in advance to see if this place really had an elevator. Told the clerk my situation they said no problem. When I arrived I found out the elevator has been out of service and had to use the ramp in the back of the building. It wasn't easy pushing a wheelchair through gravel and dragging the chair up to the 1st step to use the ramp.

The staff was wonderful, and the room was comfy for the age of the hotel

Elevator out and no ground floor rooms. 21 steps with luggage to get to the first floor plus another 8 or so to get from the street to the lobby. Restaurant was closed. Bar was closed. Pool was closed. NO HOTEL parking. No breakfast. Cheap pod coffee maker in the room. You have to compete for limited curbside parking on the street. Had to pay $12.50 to park overnight three blocks away. Only one chair in the room, extremely uncomfortable and with the back blown out. Bathroom light was good but room light was terrible. This is not a three star hotel. Not recommended, especially if you’re older.

I almost didn’t book here after seeing the bad reviews- but I was glad I did. We came for a short road trip to Bisbee and wanted the classic hotel experience and it didn’t disappoint. We had no problem with anyone being rude and the place is adorable. Yes, there isn’t an elevator & yes the room / decor is dated/ but it’s a hotel from 1902 and that’s to be expected- and what you see in towns like this. The hotel was gorgeous- the restaurant was good and the saloon and patio area were perfect.
