Fabulous! Beautifully restored home turned gorgeous bed and breakfast. Outstanding service, delicious breakfast, super comfortable rooms. Social hour with the owners and staff felt like being with family. Great location with beautiful bay views, steps from Bay Street shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Small, immaculate, charming and very clean. Excellent staff. Owners present and were very helpful and welcoming. Cocktail hour drink offered with nibbles which is a nice touch. Beautiful position overlooking the estuary. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast good.

Our queen size bed but it was the only room vacant so not the properties fault!

From the moment we arrived, we were met by gracious hosts who were eager to ensure that our trip was unforgettable! The property itself is impeccable- from the lovely decor to the ultra comfy bed and linens, no detail was overlooked! Now let’s talk about the delicious breakfast fare that was different each morning- absolutely scrumptious! Every evening we were joined for the hospitality event of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by owners Suzanne and Chris Ramm who made sure every guest felt like family! We will definitely be back ❤️!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful Inn. Everything was thought of to make our stay a big part of our joy with Beaufort. Comfortable mattress and pillows! Gas fireplace, nice strong shower in our charming room. The delicious breakfasts changed every morning as did the nibbles at the “happy hour”. Housekeeping, including evening turn down was impeccable. Tara and the amazing Robert were never without a smile and offer of help. Robert’s smiles were a delight! Suzanne and Chris, owners, have done a fabulous job modernizing but keeping all the original features of an historic house. They were delightful to talk with and we appreciated their recommendations for sites to see and places to eat. We felt like part of a family and bet you will too.

I had a hard time choosing between inns in Beaufort but so glad I picked this one. Decor was stunning, service excellent, and location right on the water and a short walk to town. We had the ballroom which has a gorgeous view. Breakfast and the afternoon reception were lovely touches. Highly recommend!

Great location & accommodations with beautiful views, delicious breakfasts & the MOST welcoming staff!

Perfectly located on the Beaufort waterfront. The recent renovation/ refreshment has made this wonderful historic home sparkle. From the early evening wine and appetizers, to the delicious breakfast with French press coffee, this place checks all the boxes for a luxurious stay in a most charming area of Beaufort. Host Robert is personable and accommodating and Tara is delightful. There are other historic inns in Beaufort but this one is the best, IMHO.

Our experience cost us more than we had planned, more than we had budgeted and it all could have been avoided if the additional "potential" fees had been disclosed rather than assuming and informing guests after all have settled in (i.e., luggage up the stairs, clothes hung) Everyone was nice, but the communication issue and additional fees were not elements we had planned on spending time discussing and attempting to resolve during a short visit. We found ourselves in a very uncomfortable and costly situation that should never have happened. Very unfortunate!! If the inn owners, management and staff would rather not accommodate low occupancy, block the evening.

We spent a dream weekend at Cuthbert House. It is a gorgeous property that has been recently renovated by the new owners, Suzanne and Chris. They have thought of so many extra amenities and services to make this historic home so wonderful. The inn is located within a short walk of the historic downtown and the marina. The rooms and common areas at the inn are so beautifully decorated and everything is arranged for maximum comfort and luxury. The chef presents wonderful breakfasts with anything you could want in dining areas that overlook the shoreline and old oaks with Spanish moss. There is an afternoon happy hour with a delicious hors d’oeuvres selection plus beer, wine and champagne. We cannot say enough good things about our concierge team, Robert and Christy—so welcoming and efficient! They made sure that everything was perfect for us. They made excellent recommendations of wonderful Beaufort restaurants that we really enjoyed. By the end of our stay, they were our friends! We will return to Cuthbert House very soon as it is such a special place.
