Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort & Spa

LOVED the hotel and had an INCREDIBLE stay! The hotel director, Kevin, including his frontline staff, Michelle, Ampy, & Stephanie, made all of us feel welcomed and were incredibly helpful and accommodating. You couldn't ask for a better staff. We will absolutely return to the property and look forward to seeing them again.

We really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. The room was great and we loved having a balcony where we could see the resort and the ocean. The last night we saw the most beautiful sunset. The staff here is great. Big shout out to Kevin who made a great first impression and was so helpful. We also had a great experience with Rocky in the bar for happy hour. The restaurant was really good. We ate there for breakfast every morning. We also spent an evening in the bar listening to live music, having drinks and sharing from the happy hour menu. Everything was great and all the servers and bartenders were so good. We loved the location of the hotel and were able to drive to lots of touristy locations daily. I highly recommend staying here-great spot!

Great service and incredibly comfy room. The meeting room space was well organized and staff was helpful. The only challenge I had was orienting myself from where the conference room was to my room, as it was a bit of a meandering pathway.

We had another GREAT experience at the Cape Rey Hilton… It started with the Valet/Bellperson out front, then to our check in with Michelle at the Front Desk, then our Spa appointment… Our room was perfect, as well as our dinner in the bar at Chandler’s… We will be back… Thank you

Location and staff were great! I really enjoyed the fire pit locations around the outside. Great views. I was able to eat breakfast and dinner. The burger is charbroiled and delicious… added bacon and avocado. The blue fin sushi was delicious!

It is a lovely resort with excellent amenities. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a positive one. Our room was comfortable and we'll appointed. Pillows and comforters are down filled. If you need non-feather bedding be sure to request it. We did and they took care of the request quickly. The furnishings and decor is casual contemporary. Cozy without being vintage. The location is good, but beach access does require getting across a major thoroughfare. Food and beverages were quite nice, including the crab cakes, beetroot salad, and seafood choices. Again, great wait and bar staff. We will return when we need to stay in the area.

Excellent service. Staff was super sweet and nice and attentive. The ambiance of the hotel was very welcoming. My family and I had a good time and relaxing stay with the view of the ocean. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for having us!

The property is beautiful and the room was very comfortable, well appointed and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The best part of the experience was the hotel staff, in particular the servers and bartenders in Chandlers restaurant. They were very friendly, and gave great service.

Cape Rey was an amazing stay cation! Great sunsets and accommodations.Excellent service and beautiful grounds. Bike rentals made for fun beach ride. We loved it!
