Please inform Smartflats - Central Antwerp in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of EUR 150 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that Smartflats has no reception on-site. In order to check in, guests need to bring the access codes they receive from the accommodation by e-mail on their arrival day. Please note that a cleaning fee will only apply when the accommodation is left untidy and dirty. Please note that in case of damage, an extra fee will be charged.

"Bad"

Good was the location only

I didn't like the attitude of the staff, When you go down the stairs, the sensor turns on late, so it's dark in the hallway. Because of this, I suffered serious bodily injuries, for which I received only a sorry response And most importantly: for several days before our departure, no one asked me how I was feeling, and even worse: they didn't even clean the cube of blood

"Would not recommend"

It was dirty, dusty, and lots of things was not done. The TV is not plugged in (the wire was not long enough either). The dishwasher stinks of very old dirty water. The fridge and the freezer are not working(if you are staying for a longer time thinking you can you them). There's no internet. There's a dryer but no washer. There's constant alarm from the front door down stairs that you also can hear from the bedroom. But the bed is pretty comfortable. And from the Hotels.com's side... The apartment with balcony is not available. I booked it but i hot the other apartment.

Location and size was great

Fridge didn’t work, which smart flats were aware of but gave us no prior warning or discount, which is a great inconvenience considering it’s a self catering apartment! The flat was also falling apart; Shelves fallen off the wall and on the floor, skirting boards ripped off, painting tape still on the walls, electrical outlets with missing faceplates. No soap provided in the toilet. Incredibly dark stairwell with no working lights

"Superb"

Stayed there during nye and could see the fireworks from the window!! Third time staying here and they upgraded the security. It was much more cleaner then before.

"dissatisfying, although Antwerp is great"

location is top,

The appartment is self not good (dishwasher, fridge and freezer not working and no actual action from accomodation during stay). Also other reported claims have not been taken care of (tv plug too short for reaching the wall to plug in, bath without water plug) Another thing was that the elevator is not working and we had to carry our babycarrier 3levels.

"Horrific place"

We enjoyed how close we where to central

The pull out bed wasn't clean, there was a used napkin and a lollypop wrapper. We got broken into and valuable things were stolen, police statement been giving, cttv weren't working, only the people who are living there should know the pass code to get in both doors. We phoned smartflats, and they didn't help at all. The fridge wasn't working, there was a cockroach on the wall at night. Dirty knife left in the sink from previous tennants? The tv didn't work. We only had 2 rolls of toilet rolls one per bathroom, so we had to go buy more. This place is also advertised with a hairdryer but there isn't one in the flat. The skirting board was off the wall. The floor was rising in a bits, which my friend fell over and hurt his ankle. The light on the stairs wasn't working either. There was a shelf hanging off the wall.
