Pallas Hotel

This is what I would call a typical European business hotel. Everything is clean and functional, but no frills, which is fine with me.

Overall, perfect. Would have loved a window, but I did appreciate the opening sky light, that is a nice touch. It was a perfect room for my first night in Europe, I slept well, amazingly, being so jet lagged. It was quiet and dark and smelled neutral, and the breakfast was excellent. Your staff are wonderful, I enjoyed chatting with Willie, the morning breakfast guy, and Stephanie, your manager. Thank you for making my first night in Germany a positive one.

The hotel staff are very much helpful and kind. Further hotel can be suggested for stay . But hotel should give a better discount when anyone staying more than 3 days ...eventually if Saturday and Sunday comes

This hotel is located in a strip mall in an industrial area of Darmstadt. The hotel is located up a long flight of stairs, so be prepared to haul your suitcases up. The rooms are relatively small and spartan but are clean and functional and are certainly reasonable for the price. Wi-Fi was available for an added (reasonable) charge. A grocery store is located in the same shopping center, and several restaurants and fast food places are nearby. Overall, this hotel represents a relatively good value for Darmstadt.

Clean, no-frills stay. Good location in walking distance to the center and still not expensive. This is not a place to stay for a honeymoon but a good and cheap option for a short stay.

We arrived and could not find the hotel because it was behind construction which is not their fault, but other then that the room was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean and stocked. We got a city map from the front desk and walked around the city which is nice. There is also a small grocery story next door which was convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was what you would expect from a business hotel, with lots of options. We had 2 large windows that opened to let in cool night air as it was rather hot for late April, but it cooled down quickly after opening. It is close to a tram to get to the city center or you could walk which we did. Overall a nice place to stay with easy access to free parking.

Probably the worst experience in hotel in several years of travelling in europe. Room without window, super warm room without possibility to cool it down, no service after 19, internet not working. The star is for the breakfast that is not so bad. You can for sure fine a better hotel in Darmstadt. Do not go!!!

The hotel is located above a discount supermarket and a copy shop. There is an assisted stairway seat for the elderly and handicapped. For the healthy with a lot of luggage you are going to be carrying a lot up. It's clean NO-frills hotel. I didn't see any AC and my window opened up to the roof of the supermarket below. I imagine the rooms get very hot in the summer. Floor's were bare. Shower, the typical tiny showers of Europe where I barely fit. I'm a big guy however. Bed wasn't comfortable but not horrible. Basically this is budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The staff leaves at 7PM and you have to use a code to buzz yourself in. When I arrived there was major construction in the lobby and it was quite hard to find the entrance. I was walking back and forth for 20 min with my luggage. The bright side is it was clean and had a very nice staff. There is no smoking in the rooms but there is a smokers lounge with a TV and couches.

Utility style hotel in a shopping center but still more than adequate for my 2 day business trip. Within walking distance to the park and downtown old town. There are some nice German restaurant nearby if you are willing to walk. I arrived by taxi from the Frankfurt airport but I understand that there are trains and buses that can get you there too.

Single rooms have no windows, except in the ceiling. The hotel is above a supermarket. Not what I expected in any way.
