Such a disappointment. We stopped here for one night for our anniversary. My husband booked it with the romance package as a surprise. When we got to the room they had forgotten to update the room for the additional under the package, reception did apologise and said they could go and do it, but by now it was too late. The room was damp and the window didn’t open. The towel rail and extractor didn’t work and the toilet was faulty where they had put a sign on how to flush it properly. There was also a hairband of the previous guest left in the bathroom covered in hair and hair on the bed to match.. the dressing table was so old and damaged. We went down to use the spa and our key hadn’t been activated so we had to go back to reception again. The spa is ok, this clearly is their focus and cash cow. There are a large number of young ladies on a production line of treatments and one person manning the spa reception. Me and a number of other guests were stood waiting for the lady manning reception for over 5 minutes but the ladies waiting to do the treatments couldn’t help us said we had to wait for the receptionist to come back. The food is good and the lady in the restaurant on the night time was very polite. On check in they booked us for breakfast for 9.45, we went down to eat and was told that they had a number of large groups so there wasn’t much food left, but luckily we could still order from the kitchen for 5 minutes. We went down 5 minutes early, which was lucky otherwise we would have had no breakfast. I mentioned all this to reception on the way out and she said so a few bits and bobs were wrong and at least we were full after breakfast. She did apologise but that was it. Would never stay here again. Just for reference for people planning on staying also. The view out the front is Aldis and the view out the back overlooking the pool is a premier inn.

Been to this spa many times but decide to stay over this time! The hotel lets it down so badly which was a major disappointment, staff were wonderful but I would recommend staying elsewhere the hotel is no where near worth the price we paid
