Under Canvas West Yellowstone

O falta de conforto para um clima com frio foi muito grande. Vento entrando na barraca. Madeira umida que nao aquecia o quarto. Chuveiro idem, aquecedor que apaga com o vento. Cama rangia em em qq movimento em virtude da madeira que foi construida. Enfim, uma decepcao.

It was an awesome experience. The tent was beautiful, the staff was nice and even though we had to share the bathroom facilities it was clean and stocked.

Unfortunately weather isn't something that was controllable. When we were there it was 30 degrees at night. My family is from Hawaii and that was too cold. We were told if we asked for extra blankets and hot water bottles they would come. We asked 3 times and no one came. At about 11pm we got the hot water bottles. It was too late we got sick and it ruined the rest of the trip. I wish we could have had a space heater like the one in the big tent.

Very disappointing experience at Under Canvas West Yellowstone. We arrived around 7:00 PM on a cold, rainy evening and immediately had problems with the tent stove. We rented three tents, and only one stove worked properly. The other stoves would not stay lit. Staff members tried multiple times to get them working, and while the fire would briefly start, it would go out within about 10 minutes. We made at least five attempts throughout the evening and finally gave up around 11:00 PM. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and our tent was also leaking, making the situation even worse. Because the stove never worked properly, we ended up sleeping in near-freezing temperatures all night, which was extremely uncomfortable and not what we expected from a glamping experience. To make matters worse, the camp had run out of hot water bottles, so there was no alternative way to stay warm. The shower situation was also disappointing. Hot water lasted for only about one minute before turning cold, making it impossible to take a warm shower. What was especially concerning is that this did not appear to be an isolated incident. While we were speaking with the staff in the office about our stove issues, two other families came in reporting the same problem. For the premium price charged by Under Canvas, basic necessities such as reliable heating, a dry tent, and consistent hot water should be guaranteed. While the staff were friendly and did try to help, the facilities failed to provide a comfortable or safe experience. We left very disappointed and would not stay here again.

Loved Under Canvas! The tent was huge, clean and very well appointed. The staff are very congenial and extremely helpful. Activities are available, s'mores in the evening, it's a terrific place.

From customer service to accommodations everything was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our suite tent and the kids loved their kid tent next to ours.

My stay at Under Canvas was nice. The location and scenery was great. Holton is a great GM. Some of the matters that need improvement. Upon checking in I received my tent assignment and my tent was a distance from the parking. I asked to be moved because our party was older and some had mobility issues. I was being told no because the tent I booked were located in a specific area. Now when booking on a website how is one supposed to know that. Website needs to be updated with this kind of information. Holton jumped in and accommodated us. Under Canvas may need to make improvements to be more accommodating to people with mobility/ADA issues. I saw a couple reviews from people about having to wake up to put more logs on the fire. Part of the problem the logs are kindling logs which burn fast. Under Canvas please spend the extra dollars on split wood which burns slower so people can sleep. It was an interesting experience but the place can be improved on.
