"Beautiful location, loved this glamping experience"

9.0

The setting was beautiful with the Madison river running through it. Fire pits were great with provided S’more packets. I would stay again.

Breakfast for the price per night should be included, at least a continental breakfast.

We booked this property through Hotels.com and arrived at 10:30 PM to find no one at the front desk. We had to locate another guest who kindly provided us with a phone number to reach the front desk. Eventually, someone arrived and showed us to our accommodation. Unfortunately, the room conditions were unacceptable: • No heater • No hot water in the shower or sink • No electricity • Extremely uncomfortable bed We were freezing throughout the night and could not rest properly. Given that we paid a premium rate for this stay, we immediately requested a refund. However, we were told it was “too late” and that a refund would not be issued. This response is unacceptable. We expect a full refund due to the lack of basic amenities and the failure to provide what was advertised. Please confirm how you will resolve this matter promptly. We had a great stay at Under Canvas. I had been emailing with Sam prior to our arrival who was very helpful. Keegan checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The views were amazing. The food was great. We would come back!

"Think Again Before Staying Here"

2.0

We stayed at Under Canvas North Yellowstone this past week in a “Deluxe Tent” with an adjacent kids tent. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the amenities were as advertised, we had the absolute worst night sleep here. The tent started out boiling hot so that lighting a fire was not a real option (and there is no way to cool down the tent—opening the “flaps” did nothing except litter our tent and bed with dead bugs who were caught there), and in the very early morning it was absolutely freezing (maybe 40 degrees). The tent was insanely loud in the wind, flapping and squeaking nearly all night. Under Canvas is aware of this issue and gave us junky ear plugs to try to sleep, which did not work. On top of this noise and heat, we had the displeasure of listening to people come and go in cars until very late at night (we heard car doors opening, closing and the little alarm beep of cars being locked) and also had headlights illuminating our tent with each car arrival. Overall, while the idea sounds fun, the experience was AWFUL. The price of the experience only adds insult to injury. We will never stay at an Under Canvas again.

"Nightmare vacations"

2.0

This place is the worst experience we had as a family vacation and I felt I should take the time to let everyone know about this undecanvas location. The tents were hardly in good shape and certainly not very well maintained . But the nightmare was the cold during the nights which could not be overcome by the wood stove and additionally some night the wind was pushing the smoke back in the rooms - I did not take the risk to put my kid in the kid tent which had no heater whatsoever ….. The cold was so bad that we simply decided to leave the place for a bedroom in town …and when we left no one in the hotel staff asked why we were leaving 3 days while we paid for the all period . This tell everything … I noticed going into the views of other travelers that I was not the only one in this case and every time the management answer was just saying they were sorry …. So at 600/700 usd per night for this kind of experience it is a bit expensive ..never again
