"Stunning views and bonding family experience"

8.0

This was the first time our family of four has gone camping of any sort. The staff was wonderful, the views were amazing, and the live music and cute events at night were great. The kids loved building the fire in our stove at night. Just be prepared to be cold, my husband and I handled it but my 7 and 8 year olds were pretty miserable come morning. It got down to 35 one night. I appreciated the warm water bottles for the bed and extra blankets. But overall it was such an incredible experience to be together. My one recommendation is if you have kids, young kids and it’s going to get cold at night, three nights are probably good- I booked too many- And if you have young kids, I’d recommend the bigger suite tent vs the kids tent, the pull out couch worked great! Thank you so much for the memories and the amazing service! It’s a must experience and we will go again to another location for sure! (With warmer PJs ) lol

"Under Canvas West Yellowstone was the best camping trip to do while traveling on a motorcycle."

The tent cabin was awesome. Everything was down to the smallest detail. My preference of camping is the Marriott, but staying at Under Canvas West Yellowstone was a very close second!

Food at the restaurant was expensive and limited both with type of food and hours of service.

Amazing location to explore the park with super friendly staff.

Restaurant is a bit far from the rooms, so you have to drive there.

Great location and nice tents

Upgrading the bathrooms a bit would give more value.

Cool place. Grounds, set-up and vibe is cool. River on grounds is cool. Cold at night/AM and hard to keep warm in tent. Overall, good for a night or two.

The actual facility was nice, the employees were nice. I have stayed at the Grand Canyon facility, and I liked the main tent with the restaurant and the book reading area much better than West Yellowstone, where the main tent was a little boring and I didn’t like Having to go to the log cabin style restaurant that kind of took away from the feeling that we had at the Grand Canyon. And as far as my shabby surroundings comment I couldn’t get over every time we drove in and out from the main highway having to drive by the kind of trailer park area where the employees lived. I think that should’ve been put away in the back of the facilities so when you drove in, you didn’t have to drive by and through that it’s kind of like driving through a ghetto to get to Beverly Hills. Don’t mean to be rude just being honest I’m sure that’s not gonna change anything. Thank you.
