Under Canvas West Yellowstone

I stayed at Under Canvas Yellowstone West after previously staying at Under Canvas Zion and loving the experience, so when we were in Montana, we definitely wanted to stay a few nights—and overall, it was a good experience. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. The furnished tents are beautiful, and I loved having a fireplace along with a private bathroom and shower inside the tent—it really elevates the glamping experience. We visited in July, and surprisingly, it was quite cold and rainy most of the time. Even with the weather, we still had a great time. A few things to note: it is a bit farther from Yellowstone National Park than expected, so plan for some extra driving. I also wish they had offered more activities for the Fourth of July. Additionally, unlike the Utah location, there isn’t food available in the main area, so if you’ve stayed at the one in Zion, just know this location has a different vibe. We did have a few small issues with the fireplace in our tent and a couple of other minor things, but management was responsive and able to support us, which we appreciated. Overall, a good experience, and I would still recommend it if you’re looking for a unique and peaceful stay near Yellowstone.

Awesome property & rooms. Tents are very nice. Bathroom/shower area was always clean. Staff was beyond helpful.

Your restaurant, food was over priced & not good at all. Menu lacked variety.

Tent was good,

No blankets, hot water shower did not work, ran out of smores.

Had to wait for hot water, coffee empty and s'mores. It seemed like there were not enough employees to keep up with the guests. There were no bath towels at one point when we were going to shower. And, after our room was refreshed which was nice, the person who cleared the ash from the stove must have done something because smoke filled our room in the middle of the night and fire alarm went off. Definitely not a good night sleep.
