"True Camping experience Not Glamping"

2.0

The location is great and that is about it. Joe was the only kind employee that helped us when we arrived. He kindly made us a fire in the middle of the night. We did have a kind gal help bring us to our car when we left as well.

This is true camping and not glamping. We had 2 nights and it was freezing outside and windy. You are in a feeezing cold tent that is only heated by a woodfire pit and with wind you can only put on so many logs. No one wants to get up every 1-2 hours to keep replenishing the logs. We would wake up to a freezing room that was cold enough to see your own breath. Most of the staff acted like helping you with anything was annoying. We ended up staying in the common lobby area as long as possible before going to bed at night because of the cold. If you want to shower you only have 2 mins max of hot water and you have to pull a chain to get the water out. Then stand there for 15 seconds for the hot water to reboot and then 2 more minutes and the cycle continues. I did not enjoy my stay at all and the price was ridiculous for what you get ($500/night). You could not even get a free pouch of hot chocolate because it is only allowed for the 2 hour window of smores. There is also no electricity in the rooms and just battery powered lanterns. If you are looking to camp there are many other options that won't break the bank. The other issue we had was our bed was uncomfortable and made a ton of noise with any small movement. If you rolled over or got up for any reason it was very noisy.

"Memorable, entertaining, relaxing."

10.0

This is a glamping site with 104 tents. The tents have beds, chairs, heating stoves and lanterns. They also provide power banks for electricity. The concept and thought about customers was amazing, and so was the service. There were evening activities for guests staying on site, and the staff did everything in their power to make guests happy. The only thing not in their power was the weather - the rain and cold, which caused some discomfort.

I liked everything.

"I slept like a baby"

10.0

Everything from the check-in to check out was perfect. The staff provides you with a ride from the hotel lobby to your cabin by use of a golf cart. My cabin was clean, fresh, and comfortable. I didn’t use the wood-burning stove because I had enough blankets that kept me warm throughout the whole night. I slept wonderfully.

"not a good experience"

2.0

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. I found that the rooms do not have any heaters, which required me to stay awake throughout the night to keep adding wood to the fireplace. It gets extremely chilly at night, and it is clear that basic amenities are missing for the price being charged. Given this experience, I would not recommend this accommodation to others. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the service for future guests.

"10/10 Glamping Experience"

10.0

Much better than expected. Tents are super clean. The service is spectacular. It was a total glamping experience. Comfy beds, fully furnished tents, hot water, linens, woodburning stove in each tent. The staff teach you how to make and maintain your fire. Outdoor fireplace area with music and smores. Game room with board games, cards, etc. On property restaurant was fabulous. We love, love, loved the experience. Two cautions: 1. Download and read their short manual to help become acquainted with the property. 2. It gets COLD at night!!! Waking up to 34 degrees in a tent is no joke. The beds have 6 layers of covers and yes there is a woodburning stove, but bring your heaviest winter jammies!
