Numa Brussels Lief

We had a very pleasant stay at Numa Lief. Communication before arrival was clear and efficient, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. Everything operates via pin code, the entrance, lift, and room doors which made us feel extremely safe and secure throughout our stay. The location is excellent. It’s just a 3 minute walk from Anneessens metro station, and around a 10 minute walk to the city centre with shops, attractions, and the famous Manneken Pis fountain. Very convenient for exploring without needing constant transport. Our fourth floor room was spacious and well equipped. Amenities included a safe, coffee machine with pods, tea, complimentary chocolate, and bottled water. We especially appreciated the individual toiletries, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, which felt like a thoughtful touch rather than an afterthought. There were just a few minor drawbacks. One of the complimentary water bottles had already been used, and unfortunately the refrigerator didn’t function despite the internal light being on and adjusting the temperature dial. The bin in the room was also very small, and the lid was quite awkward to use. On the plus side, there’s a free gym, laundromat, and microwave in the basement (-2 level), which would be particularly useful for longer stays. We occasionally heard conversations and plumbing noises late at night, but it was minor and didn’t disturb our sleep. Overall, a comfortable, secure, and well located base in Brussels with practical amenities. With a few small improvements, it would be excellent.

A horrible experience. No hot water for two days, the shower flooded after shower, no heating either, and the worse part was that you had to argue through what's up, first with a chatbot, and afterwards type everything AGAIN to an agent. I was given a 15% discount, but quite frankly, it was nothing compared what i went through.

The property is very safe, they have washer, dryer in level -2, but i guess depending on your room reservation you may not have access to it, easy walk to local culture and activities, overall we were very happy with our suite. Nick from, Texas

É um desafio hospedar-se em um hotel que não tem nem café da manhã nem recepção. Este hotel tem uma boa localização e o quarto era bem confortável.

Me gustó mucho hospedarme aquí, está muy cómodo y céntrico, tiene muy buen espacio para poner maletas

Good location, a few minutes walk from the center, and from the Train station. Rooms have nice high ceilings, very comfortable beds, fridge, coffee maker, and a safe. Very comfortable. No front desk or key, access is by code for the front door and room… still getting used to that set up. No issues, good experience.

El hotel está bien, la localización es muy buena, pero sólo limpian la habitación una vez a la semana si la estancia es de, al menos, 8 días. El día de la llegada, me escribieron para decirme que tenían que recolocarme en otro hotel. Finalmente, se debió todo a un error y me quedé en el hotel original. Me dijeron que me iban a dejar en la habitación un detalle por las molestias, pero no hubo nada.

I did not get any mail prior to arriving with any instruction or confirmation code to get the online check-in going. This resulted in almost an hour spent figuring this out. Mostly because there were no one to contact except by chat. And I was required to download WhatsApp, setting up an account etc. as well. After finally getting in, I tried to take a bath, but after an hour of filling the tub it was barely any water and it was luke warm at absolute best. So no water pressure or heat. The shower worked for some reason, both with hot water and pressure. Then we wanted to use the tv, but getting a "no signal" on the HDMI I was supposed to use to get to cast. I was promised that someone would check these issues out, by two different operators - but none of the issues were resolved. There is no sign that anybody came at all. In addition the bathroom and toilet had a moldy smell. On the positive side, when we finally got the access codes this system worked flawless. The beds were comfortable and the room looked nice. If you only need a place to sleep and take a shower, it will suffice. But for the price we paid I can not recommend it.
