Benikea Calton Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin

COMFORTABLE FOR BUS AND TRAIN, VERY GOOD HOTEL, NICE SHOWER

Upon arrival, took a taxi to hotel to familiarize self of the area. The hotel location was about 1 mile from JR Hakata Station and an easy, leisurely walk, upon subsequent visits to the Hakata area. Market, restaurants and convenience stores were easily accessible by a short walk from the hotel.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The walls and carpet were in need of replacing. Didn't try the food. Small lobby. Big dinning area. Internet was fast and easy to connect to. The area is relatively quiet but, is still walking distance to all the best nightlife.

At first night is not comfortable cause the room temperature is so hot & the air condition adjustment is not working

Convenient location, BUT the rooms need to be upgraded. The green carpet looks very old and unkempt, and the room has a musty smell. The ref in our room didn't work.

The hotel is a bit far from the Tenjin center. We booked for 4 nites with buffet breakfast included. Food selection always the same every single day. Not too many to choose from so having breakfast felt a little obligatory.

Good overall stay. Staff were polite and helpful. 10am check in is too early and 3pm checkout is too late.

Short stay in Fukuoka, this hotel is a good solution, well situated, clean, and a good service.

It is a modest hotel. Great for short stop in the city. Close of two big train station.

Very good for travelers. Yuki speaks very good English.
