Ambong Rainforest Retreat

My friends and I had an enjoyable stay there. Serene and relaxing environment with a lot of greenery and 🐒, suitable for a slow and chill trip. We attended the daily yoga class for 2 days, which is a good start for our day as well as the scrumptious breakfast. My friends enjoyed dipping in the pool and spa as well. Good choice if you love nature and a relaxing vacation!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities are clean and well maintained. Both restaurants were very nice. Rimba restaurant is more on the expensive side, but the food was amazing, far exceeding our expectations. The sunset view from Rimba restaurant was top-notched. Beware of the tricky monkeys!

Its a beautiful place with total serenity. Its a beautiful in forest. Even the monkeys are behaved and have a peaceful behaviour 😄 The staff were always very helpful and interactive. My stay at Ambong Ambong Rainforest Suite was magical. Waking up to the sound of forest and watching the sunrise from my bed was unforgettable. The room opens right into the rainforest. The space is calm, private, and surrounded by nature, with a beautiful wooden bath in the living area where you can just soak and listen to the forest. It was an absolute divine! The yoga session was another highlight. The pavilion is set beautifully among the rainforest, and Sugu, the instructor, is experienced and attentive. I have scoliosis, and the session was thoughtfully adjusted for me. Breakfast at Rimba overlooking the lush rainforest and the ocean was wonderful treat. I've also enjoyed Vegan lunch at Pegaga, set in a Malay style kampung house. Great place for photos! The sunset at Rimba Sky was spectacular. This is not to be missed. What really stood out for me was the warmth of the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and make me feel so welcome. Ambong Ambong truly tick all the boxes. Tranquility, nature, great food and service from the heart.

Ambong was great! We also asked to be shown around the pool villa as we are considering that as our next stay. Mr Prem and his team did great!

it is a special experience and happy time to stay here, we really enjoy. all the staff are friendly and kind and warm, the driver help us lots.

Our stay was just perfect! The room was more than big enough for two persons, had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. From our balcony we had a very nice view over the rainforest and the sea. It is possible, that monkeys come to the balkony, so better don't be afraid. But it is also a very special expericence to see them so close. The staff was very, very nice and always there to help and assist with everything. As well as one of us got sick, the staff was a big help and supported us just great. We would absolutely recommend to stay here!

Amazing stay at Ambong Rainforest! The staff were lovely and the room view was incredible! Very clean and there great restaurant options. Would highly recommend! Careful of the monkeys at times!

I really recommend this hotel in Langakawi, it is super nice with most wonderful people working that look after you super well. It is located in the rainforest and you can spot some animals while walking arround. There are two super nice restaurants, vegetarian one serves amazing breakfasts and throughout the day. Also, their restaurant Rimba is super with local food options, great for dinner or lunch. Beach is also close to this hotel, just need to take grab ane in 5-10 minutes you are at the beach . Also, the pool is very nice 🙂.
