Excellent location. Truly ski in/ski out. Located at the tip of the older Snowmass "mall" village but the pedestrian gondola provides easy access to the newer base village. HUGE shout out to the extraordinary Spencer at the valet who went above and beyond helping our extended family with luggage (so much luggage) and transportation with such warmth and good cheer. He is the reason for the 5th star. Rooms vary in size and view. Excellent fitness center.

I’ve stayed at the Viewline five years in a row and have always loved the location — it’s truly one of the best ski-in/ski-out spots in Snowmass. That’s why it’s disappointing to say the overall experience has declined under the current management. 1. Reservation Handling We reached out well in advance to adjust our dates and were told someone would follow up. By the time we received a response, we were inside the policy window and told no modifications could be made, with no alternatives offered. I understand cancellation policies, but the delayed response on the hotel’s side left us without a workable solution. For repeat guests, the lack of flexibility was surprising. 2. Breakfast & Value Breakfast quality and inclusions have noticeably changed. In prior years, there were full stations and a more substantial offering. Now it feels like a limited assortment, and items that used to be included are now add-ons. For example, eggs are approximately $10 per person above the standard in-room breakfast package, and coffees with milk are no longer included. At this price point, that feels like a meaningful downgrade. 3. Amenities Room rates have increased significantly year over year. During our stay, one of the hot tubs was closed, limiting access to basic amenities. When pricing continues to rise, guests reasonably expect consistent service levels and fully available facilities. The location remains fantastic — that hasn’t changed. But overall, the value and guest experience don’t feel aligned with where this property used to be.

Our family recently stayed at the Viewline Snowmass Aspen while celebrating birthdays, and the experience truly exceeded expectations. Travel doesn’t always go perfectly, and we did encounter a couple small issues during our stay. However, what really stood out was how the management team handled everything. Daniel and Jessica went above and beyond to make things right and ensured our family felt genuinely cared for. Their kindness, generosity, and sincere desire to create a great guest experience turned what could have been minor frustrations into a memorable and positive stay. They helped make our birthday celebrations extra special and consistently showed professionalism and warmth throughout our visit. It’s rare to encounter a hotel team that responds with such personal attention and genuine hospitality. The location is fantastic, the property is beautiful, and thanks to the exceptional service, we left feeling grateful and already looking forward to our next visit. Worst experience ever. I forgot my diamond ring in the room and it never turned up, but the staff confirmed it wasn't stolen. How can they be sure? Just because they never found it. I filed a police report.

I’ve stayed at Viewline Resort Snowmass multiple times, and one experience that is always a standout is the lobby bar with Ajay. I spend 25–30 days a year in Aspen, and whether I’m staying at the resort or not, I always make a point to stop by the lobby bar. Ajay at the Viewline Resort is hands-down one of the best bartenders in Colorado. He’s constantly experimenting on new cocktail creations, and every single drink is incredibly well-balanced & perfectly matched to your mood. You can literally tell him what spirit you like or what you’re in the mood for, and he somehow turns that into magic in a glass!! Whether I’m kicking off a night out or recovering from one, Ajay nails it every time. And on top of that, he does some seriously fun fire cocktails that are as entertaining as they are tasty. If you’re staying at Viewline or anywhere nearby, sitting at the bar with Ajay is an absolute must-do experience! I’ll add photos because these drinks deserve to be seen. 😄

We arrived via shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We were given a room with a pool view by a front desk employee. Later, we asked the front desk about getting a Mountain View that we had booked originally. Elizabeth assisted us in getting a room with a gorgeous view. Every time we needed something I learned really quick to go to Elizabeth because she handled things immediately and was very very helpful. The lockers staff were absolutely A+ im assisting everyone! Those guys worked really hard & very efficient! The bar has great food and great staff. The downstairs restaurant has great food and accommodations were made for our food allergies, everyone was super kind and helpful, Matteo always has a smile and does an excellent job. Yes they get busy and the kitchen can take awhile especially if you have orders go in at different times, however the buffet is the best. Overall it was a wonderful experience due to Elizabeth at the front desk, all the bar and restaurant employee and the guys in the locker area. Rooms were nicely cleaned upon return from skiing.

After more than 20 years of staying at this property, including when it operated as the Silvertree, this visit will be our last. The accommodations showed significant wear, with stained carpeting and furniture, intermittent power outages, and a heating system that was both loud and ineffective, leaving the room at 61°F. The suite also had a persistent sewage odor. Maintenance issues extended to the amenities, including hot tubs that were leaking blue residue, which stained bathers’ skin. Service was inconsistent, and interactions with some staff members felt dismissive. Although our rate included breakfast—confirmed at check-in and again before each meal—we were still charged and had to dispute the charges at the front desk on two separate occasions. The property is marketed as a premium hotel within Marriott’s Autograph Collection and is priced accordingly, but the condition of the facilities and quality of service did not align with that positioning.

The staff were so helpful, kind, and welcoming.

There were spots of some type of brown liquid on the walls. The window was unlacked and open when I arrived. Id requested to not be on a ground level and eneded up on a ground level.

I suppose a suite with a mountain view but the room was good. Just no view

Excellent service from the front desk to housekeeping and everything in between nice pool, hot tub, ski and ski Out amazing ski LA shuttle from the airport very timely highly recommend and champagne at the front desk. Nice value for a ski vacation.
