Ramada by Wyndham Aonang Krabi

This is definitely not a 4 star property. The toilets clog and stink regularly. The rooms have fungus here and there. Basic amenities like drinking water, tea/coffee were not replenished. Had to ask for these, and were later told that water is chargeable. Not 4 star practice. The breakfast itself was worse than what's offered at the casual restaurants outside the hotel. Again, not 4 star offering. If this is the level of service and quality, they shouldn't brand themselves as 4 star or Ramada. It's misleading and leaves traveller's feeling swindled.

Avoid this hotel even if you are getting it at a low price. Service is non-existent. There is no housekeeping after 5pm and before 10am. We couldn't even get an extra pillow after 5pm. Breakfast is just okay and then there is no restaurant for lunch / dinner. Rooms are not maintained at all. It's as if Ramada doesn't want to run this property and is looking to sell it off but aren't able to

Location.

Old property not maintained properly. Staff were not attentive and ignorant. Poor breakfast and bad behaviour of staff at breakfast.

The location & layout

The breakfast was sub standard & staff were unable to provide hot water other than from a single coffee machine being use for 40+ seat restaurant. The property was so run down it was a health & safety hazard. The bed was hard with springs so it felt like they had just removed the mattress.

No lift access, poor food quality and old rooms and furniture

The staff at reception is indifferent. They hardly care about you, and you feel this right from check in time. No housekeeping available after 5 pm till next morning 10 am. So if you have an early flight or late checkin, don’t even think of this one. Breakfast was poor. They had same menu on both days we stayed. We booked because of Ramada brand, only to realize this was no where close to that experience, not even 1%. Definitely one of the worst hotels I have paid for. Not recommended.

Really filthy and worn. Everything is old and needs replacing or repairing. Please see photos I include. Hugely overpriced also in comparison to other hotels In the area. Pool is really dirty too. 2 stars only because the staff are nice and it’s not their fault.

The hotel is pretty much deserted, there is no staff , we had to carry our luggage to the room by ourselves. The restaurant is open ONLY for breakfast( coz of the lack of staff) The location is also not that good , it seems like it’s close to the beach but it’s not , you have to rent a scooter if you want to go to ao nang more than once in a day. Rooms overall were good

The pool was disgusting not clean at all lights hanging out in the pool the rooms was dirty

very outdated hotel with no staff. rooms were big but shabby. bathroom accessories stand broken, electric switches in rooms dont work, corridoor to room was very dirty. toilets near reception didnt have hand cleaning tissue papers. Breakfast had badly prepared indian food.
