Swainson on Bent

The accommodation is well equipped, comfortable and the location to eateries, shopping and attractions is fabulous.

The property was closed to the public transport, Rundle Mall, lots of restaurants to choose.

The property’s cooking is quite worn out & the lounge cushions are not quite clean. You can see the soiled on it.

Location was ideal - just off Rundle street. Walking distance to shopping and great places to eat

Pre pay of deposit took over a week to be refunded.

Great location but it was a hassle to book!

Staff harass you after your booking for a selfie ID. You book the accommodation whilst driving and you dont have network along the way and their booking requires you to send ID selfie whilst holding your document, which is impossible to do when driving so we only got to do it when we got to Adelaide. Thereafter the harassment continued: they want a $250 damage deposit via paypal which was a nightmare to set up, then turns out the funds went to the paypal account and not them and you have to redo the payment! Then the countless sms back and forth with threats on how your entry card will be deactivated if you dont pay the damage deposit. We booked this place because we wanted some laundry done, the damn machine is so noisy you cant sleep. They whole night it made such alot of noise. The beds were worn out and uncomfortable and walls so dirty for the hassle we went through. A week later and we still havent received our damage deposit, they claim it was sent last week but we still havent received it. Dont book here its too much hassle. Too much harassment and simply NOT WORTH IT. The furniture is dirty and appliances dented or damaged but I took pictures of everything. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. They also havehidden costs, you have to pay for parking separately. The place looksnothing like its pictures! Damn salvages.

Fantastic location, clean and great for a family

Only small thing was no aircon/heating in one bedroom, however a stand fan was provided. Rangehood didn’t work so nearly smoked out the unit.

Swainson on Bent is in a great position for a stay in central Adelaide The apartment is lovely and roomy and extremely well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed for a 5 night stay

The balcony looks out over a service lane which in itself was not a problem. But the noise from extractor fans from the surrounding buildings meant it we didn’t use it. Luckily the double glazing was extremely effective so at least we didn’t have to hear it with the doors closed

Place was clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable, sheets felt fresh. Staff were prompt and helpful.

Slightly inconvenient to access their parking facilities, would be better if a QR or barcode parking access was available. Some mugs were stained but I think that’s inevitable. Minor repairs needed on walls and ceilings, nothing more than expected.
