Overall, highly recommend if staying in Carlsbad, NM. Hotel is clean and room was tidy. Breakfast was top notch and staff was friendly. Would stay again.

"Great for Carlsbad Caverns"

We stayed here two days ago. The hotel was nice and the free breakfast was good. The pool area was great. Do NOT go there for dinner or drinks in the evening. Overpriced and terrible. It was like microwave food but worse.

"Clean and Large Hotel Room"

Hyatt House Carlsbad is a nice hotel. We loved the big rooms. Each room has everything you could need if you wanted to cook in your room including a table and chairs, stove, microwave, and fridge. We ended up eating out. We had dinner in their restaurant and enjoyed the free breakfast the next morning. The caverns are about 25 minutes away.
