"Great Hotel for National Parks Exploration"

Really happy with our decision to stay here. The hotel was very neat and clean with an always welcoming staff. The onsite bar/food option was nice too. The room was large and comfy with all the kitchen amenities we wanted. A bit comfy bed and smart tv options were the icing on the cake. It’s in a great location to get to the national parks. Carlsbad caverns was appx. 30 mins away and Guadalupe Mountains appx an hour. A great home base for our time in Carlsbad.

"Great Breakfast"

Really good stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a ton of options. Might be one of the better breakfast buffets and seating areas I've had in a hotel. The room setup and amenities were well designed and thought out. We stayed in a King studio kitchen suite. Good location if visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe mountain national parks. The room was relatively clean....I have pretty high standards when it comes to room cleanliness. There was some dirt/dust on the floor and carpet but nothing that would cause me not to stay again. The room itself was in good condition, but with some wear starting to show in places. Used the fitness area and very satisfied with the equipment and setup.

"Traveling"

Traveling across the country, staying in many chain hotels. Hyatt was a luxury hotel, very nice in many ways but some things they could do better. Toilet paper and Kleenex were like paper! Worst I’ve ever used. Work out room was nice, but yoga mats dirty, no sanitizer in the dispenser, only towels were dirty ones and scale with batteries that didn’t work. Nice breakfast variety. Rooms were very nice, clean Staff was helpful in using the computer and printer.

We have stayed at quite a few chain hotels like this one while on long road trips and this one was by far the best we have experienced. Friendly, clean, quiet, updated rooms and bathrooms, good pool, and felt very safe.
