Casa Alexia

Casa Alexia was lovely. Very spacious room with everything you need. Clean space and lovely green courtyard. Right next to a main strip with plenty of food places. The host also sent us a list of reccommended food spots which was so helpful!

We had some hiccups with one of our door codes. 3 are required to get to your actual room, and 1 kept showing only a box when sent through. Unfortunately the host didnt understand the issue and repeatedly sent the same message. In the end we gave up and used another guests code for the first day but as soon as they check out, that code stops working so I recommend you ensure all codes work from the start as office hours are limited. The host was kind in answering us after hours when we couldn't enter. Pillows were very lumpy and a harder bed, but bedding can be a personal preference and my friend slept fine. Overall a good stay and would recommend

Good location. Large living/kitchen space. I only stayed one night in transit and it was sufficient for this.

No air conditioning despite advertising this, but there is a ceiling fan over the bed. Also there’s a window in the door that does not fully close, this felt a bit insecure and also let in some mosquitos. The check in process was a bit confusing for me, I was using google translate so had a bit of trouble and they were a little bit rude while I was trying to figure this out.

Secure place with big room, smart TV, free water and luggage rack.

Room got hot but not unbearable. Supplying a portable fan would be nice!

the window can't be closed cause I was bitten by mosquitoes and more than a dozen bags.

The rooms are super pretty and nice and it's walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants

Great value for a lovely private room and bathroom! Very clean and comfortable. Shower was hot and wifi worked well. All check-in/out was all remote and super convenient. Location could not be better!

Fantastic location. Very near to restaurants but actually quiet at night! Fast wifi and filtered water provided.

It was a little cold inside because GDL was having a rare chill spell, but I heated up tea in the evening and put on a sweatshirt, so I was comfortable. There were extra blankets around, too. Not a problem - - just be aware that if you come here in the winter, bring some winter clothes and you will be fine. Sometimes people do not think about this since the weather is usually so wonderful in February.
