Great place, only thing was the floors were a little sandy prior to us being in there but with everything else it was easy to look past. Beds were nice, clean and comfy. Didn't get to try the breakfast but it smelled very appetizing! Very quiet place even though there was a family next door I never even heard a sneeze through the walls. Water pressure is a little low but still warm and washable! Stove and oven were cleaned and plates were clean! 10/10 stay and would recommend!

Nice victorian inn with a restaurant. Food is excellent! Walls are thin, unfortunately and we heard the room above us half the night talking. Other than that, the property has a wonderful view, large dock, and Adirondack chairs to enjoy.

The Woods Inn is a typical old historical hotel. The rooms are rustic and have their own updated bathrooms. There was a great view of the lake from our room. The bar was nice and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend it if you need a room in this area.

The hotel has a nice outside area to look at the lake. That’s about it however. The hotel is BADLY in need of renovation. Rooms have broken furniture, dirty and THIN walls (you can hear thru them), doors have trouble locking, no elevator (you need to walk about 33 steps to the 2nd floor). It needs to be closed for a total renovation. Beds have thin pads on top of old mattresses and curtains are ripped. Kind of a mess, sorry to say.

I love the location, the lake, beach, kayaking, playground, walkable good coffee shops and restaurants (Screaming Eagle pizza rocks!), nearby family hiking, sunsets, family friendly tavern, pleasant wraparound verandah. I dislike the paper-thin room walls in the main building--you can hear next door neighbors talk, snore, etc. Wish they at least offered coffee in the morning.

We were camping and left due to a storm coming. We had made reservations earlier for both the hotel and dining. The hotel we were told is recently under new management. As the hotel is very old it could use some updating and we hope the new owners invest in this property. There was no tv in the room which was a great chance to slow down and read. The food was very good and the staff and service delightful. We would love to come back in the future to see this gem restored!

Old property but very unique. No elevator and we were on basically 3rd floor. Restaurant food was excellent and the lake views outstanding

Lovely old inn in a charming village. View of the lake from the inn is beautiful. Bed was uncomfortable and some sprucing up is needed in the building. Kind and attentive staff.

The hotel location can’t be beat (right on the water), but as the other reviews suggest, it is in desperate need of refurbishing— especially the bathrooms, plumbing, and beds. I appreciated that I could choose my exact room when booking, so I could be in the top floor. It was very nice but a bit loud in summer because of all the motorboats and outdoors dining.

Great location in Inlet, NY on Fifth Lake. Dining room with limited days and hours offered excellent food. On some days there are no food options at the Inn. No breakfast ever, no coffee or tea station, but quick walk into town provides limited breakfast options. Quick walk into town provides Food Market and some dining options along with best soft serve ever at Northern Lights. The Inn is rustic and it sure shows that it has not had much done to it in about twenty years. It is a bit tired. Be aware that no air conditioning might be a problem for some. Plenty of parking, but EV chargers were out of service. Be prepared to haul luggage up many stairs, so travel light.
