Lavendish Wild Safari

Safari was amazing. 100% recommend

We had multiple issues with the room Was not cleaned so had a colony of ants (cake on the floor when we arrived) cockroachs Was not informed that was a party going on pass midnight with really loud music Very expensive buffet

Staff was absolutely great. Extremely friendly and helpful. Honestly the only highlight of the stay.

Very basic property.

The location to the national park was good and an easy drive to start your safari.

The lack of wifi in your room, the food options for dinner was below average especially as they did not have any Sri Lankan dishes or curries which you would expect in Sri Lanka. And not just Chinese and Western food options. Lack of other options for food or to stay around the area.

It was in a very quiet location and a short drive from Wasgamuwa Park. The staff were very pleasant.

The hotel could do with a bit of money being spent to spruce it up. Its a little tired looking here and there. In particular the passages tp the rooms, where there were mosquitoes.

I only stayed one night at this property but it is a beautiful property with great service. It’s first class all the way. Modern rooms, great staff, amazing views and close to safaris and other activities that one may be interested in. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth at the Lavendish Wild Safari!

The location, less than 5k from the national park, is actually the only good thing about it.

Too expensive for what it offers. Bathroom was not very clean, linen with holes, and the manager was unpleasant: tried to overcharge us for a car service and mistreated the driver that picked us up. Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms, and it’s extremely slow in the lobby.

The staff and management were super accommodating, we booked and.arrived late with a large group and they arranged safaris and changed the menu to a local meal for us. The safari was incredible, the guides are amazing
