Chania Flair Boutique Hotel, Adults only, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

An interesting experience here. I stayed a week in a junior suite. The spa in the room felt rather plonked in the corner upon entering. The electrics would turn off intermittently, even when in the room, which meant waking to re-turn on the aircon. Complained and they said no fault was there. A general theme is that it felt like things were in place to make it easier for staff rather than easier for guests. For example, they have to email you a guest QR code upon check in. This is used to access the beach chairs and breakfast. Beach chairs need to be booked through reception 24 hrs prior and if you want to use the gym, that's another card you will need to get from reception for access. The day prior to check out, your mini bar doesn't get stocked because it's easier for them to check you out the next day. There seemed to be a lot of front of house staff, with many not doing much. At the beach chairs, you have to search for someone to order anything from. He seemed to be working in the ice-cream shop over the road and you would wait 45 mins to order a drink. Also, worth noting, in the water in front of the chairs is very rocky. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff wanting to look after you.

Nothing honestly

From the time we arrived trough the time for departing to the airport at 3:30 in the morning - all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We want especially to call out and thank administrators Josip Daskalakis and Sophia Giannoulaki. A cleaning lady Irina did a superb job too. Location, quality and condition are great. Breakfast was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at the Chania Falir hotel. The location is great and the quality of accommodation is of a very high standard. What makes the real difference though is the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff. Would highly recommend.

Nice location but views from our room were partial water but mostly decrepit building across the street. Upon checking in, shopping bag with gifts left with luggage did not make it to room with porter, so $400-$500 gone. Front desk coordination of sun-bed use was unnecessarily confusing and felt jerked around. Email sent to hotel managers over two weeks ago has not been responded to, so I felt it’s fair to share my feedback here.
