"Mediorce, small room, non-existent breakfast service, little to no staff available on site."

Was told at check in that breakfast was served 7:30 to 9:30am. Went downstairs at 9am the first morning only to be told that breakfast had finished at 8:45am and was no longer being served. Went down the second morning at 8:20am and there were no staff at all available and the door to reception was locked. Therefore was not able to get breakfast on either morning.

"Dreadful."

Nothing.

Small cramped bedroom with little to no storage for clothes etc. Bed was clean but uncomfortable due to lack of, or damaged springs. Left a day earlier than planned as bed was so uncomfortable. Bathroom floor in need of a good clean, and no space for toiletries, only a small wonky shelf which things slid off. Absence of any staff at either hotel until lunchtime, even then they were noticeable by their absence, only an emergency number to call. Noisy even during the night. No hairdryer in room. Would have requested one had there been anyone to ask. Was expecting at least a continental breakfast but there was nothing available even at an extra cost at either the Well inn or the sister hotel next door. Room not made up on the Sunday, so we then decided to pack up and leave.

Quirky property. Looked and had everything it said on booking.com 👍🏻🙂

If anything negative has to be mentioned then bathroom shower screen and soap holder needs to be fixed but was perfectly fine.

No food served in the inn as stated in the booking info. Given a box room bed not big enough for 2. Window was mouldy and toilet was very loose. No one in the place until 4pm then closed at 9pm so no staff on premises, health and safety!!

The food at the highwayman connected to the well in excellent.the barmaid at the well in Sat night was professional hardworking friendly would make an excellent manager.

Tv didn't work no connection to cable etc via any medium. Taps in bathroom not working properly. Bed uncomfortable and it was advertised as view it was not.
