Grand Airport Ensuites

It was noisy , maintenance work needing done , was cold and no blankets , duvet I think was dusty as felt itchy and didn’t smell that fresh, I didn’t really feel that safe as single woman on my own and wish stayed in a proper hotel , it was not worth the money , had to pay extra £25 up front for security which didn’t like either

The property is not a hotel in any way shape or form. It is a room in a share house in a dodgy area. The area was very unsafe especially for children.

Do not stay here unless you are looking for the lowest price possible. This is not a hotel. This is a room. Nobody on site. No parking. Not very clean. Sparse amenities if any. It reminds me somewhat of a homeless shelter.

The worst place ever. They clearly tried to remodel a house to make it a hotel but it doesn’t work. No upkeep. Not like the photos in the least. Worst of all was that we planned to use the clothes washer/dryer and the phone operator says “ you didn’t book that, it’s out of order!” Ridiculous!

It was not as described. The listing said it was only a 4 minute drive from Heathrow, it took us way more than that even with clear traffic. When turning up and looking from the outside of the property, it was in the evening and we were greeted with curtains that weren’t even hung properly at the window and in between the gaps in the curtains, with the light being on inside - an unpleasant lounge area with two young men in their 20’s walking around in vests. We deemed it as unsafe and not as described when we first booked and never even entered. We called the customer service line to which a lady answered the phone, was extremely rude when we expressed concerns of our safety and how our stay wasn’t as described. And with no customer service or resolution - she hung the phone up without warning. We stayed at the Premier Inn down the road instead, booked last minute and only paid £52 - money well spent - especially for the guarantee of safety and security.

They did not inform me of the location until a few hours before I arrived, and it was further from the airport than I expected, with no public transport, and 40 pound cab ride each way. It would have been cheaper and more pleasant to stay at an official airport hotel Numerous problems with the room, let me count the ways: Going up steep staircase with a lot of luggage Room was cold even with heater on maximum, somebody had left the window open in late December and the room was freezing upon arrival and hardly warmed up even after turning the heater on. Towel heater did not work. No tea making facility in room ...iron was provided which i did not need (am i supposed to iron my tea bags?) TV in room had no remote, could not be turned on, not even sure if it was connected to anything. Only one pillow per person on the bed. Shelf in front of the mirror was missing (brackets were there). No soundproofing so airport noise was loud (an official airport hotel would have soundproofing) Bed was a bit small even for queen size Gravel driveway and broken concrete path made it difficult to get my bags in from the street
