Gatlinburg View Lodge

I called the number that text me from the hotel to pay at the office as required by my reservation and was told not to worry about it it was covered by Expedia(I use hotels.com). There was no HOT WATER. The night we checked in or the second night stay. I was told the would an just our cost by 30%. I will wait and see for the adjustment. No warm body to talk to at the office.

My experience last night was similar to Ean below. I never found anyone at the property. I tried to call but no answer and as of this moment still no response or call back. I received a code hours after I booked another hotel due to no response or check in instructions. The hotel is very run down and not as advertised. After seeing his review of bugs I’m glad I booked another room!

Well, if you don’t mind luke warm water for showers and no communication with the owners for assistance, you may be satisfied. However, I was not.

If you don't like water pressure, having ANY cleaning, having the garbage emptied, or having your request for an extra blanket since you're freezing since the Heater DIDN'T work.. this is for you. It's LOUD from street noise, the stink bugs are basically an infestation, the room smells musty and moldy, the shower takes a minimum of 30 minutes to heat (but due to the water pressure, you're not wasting MUCH water, it's a trickle - and the fixture does pull away from the wall), no one even empties the garbage, there is a legit hole in the wall, the ONE request (a blanket) was ignored. The KING bed, is actually two twin bunk bed frames stuck together with a futon mattress over the top of it. You get a text msg w/ an access code for your door and are told it's "contactless check in" which is not what is advertised. The TV didn't even turn on. There was no soap provided for the sink at all (so we bought some at a local store) - but the provided shampoo. IT was AWFUL

The room was clean. But NO HOT WATER!!!! HAD TO LEAVE EARLY. NO MATTRESS only sponge topper.... Stained blood comforter and sheets. Don't stay.....

The contactless check in was a mess. We did not receive a text until 421 pm and was supposed to be a 4 pm check in. I would never recommend this hotel because there was no hot water for a shower that evening or the next morning. I believe this to be on purpose to keep there costs down . I do not recommend this property a hot shower is a must have.

The room was newly remodeled and very neat and clean !🤗

The place was nice and not far from downtown. The negative is there was no hot water and it did not get fixed despite calling the front desk.
