"Worst experience ever!"

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unsafe, Unprofessional and Deceptive Practices I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction and concern regarding my recent stay at Global Luxury Suites. What was advertised and expected as a premium accommodation experience turned into a serious case of deception, negligence, and potential danger to my family. Here are the major issues we encountered: 1. Invasive and Risky Credit Card Policy We were forced to provide a photograph of our credit card under unacceptable conditions, including agreeing that the company could charge us any amount within 90 days after check-out without inspecting the unit in our presence. This is highly unethical and puts guests at risk of being held liable for damages caused by others after departure. 2. The property advertised as “global LUXURY suits” Nothing about this place was luxury! The rooms were significantly smaller than shown, and the pool appeared large and luxurious online, but in reality, it was much smaller and unimpressive. 3. Broken Bed and Staff Misconduct Our main bed was completely broken, and despite 7 phone calls and 3 emails, no one fixed or replaced it. We were forced to sleep on an old, hard, and extremely uncomfortable pull-out sofa in the living room. After multiple complaints, a man finally arrived – barely speaking English – claiming he came to “check the bed.” However, instead of addressing the issue, he started showing me inappropriate photos of half-naked women on his phone while I was alone in the apartment. I felt unsafe and had to ask him to leave immediately. The bed remained broken throughout our stay. 4. Unacceptable Cleanliness The unit was filthy upon arrival. We had to spend our first hours cleaning it ourselves to make it livable for our family. 5. No Concierge Support or On-Site Assistance The so-called “concierge” informed us that complaints are frequent, and that Global Luxury Suites never takes proper action.

There were a few places to eat near the pier the view of the city was amazing and the tall boat was great for food,dancing and drinking however the vibe is younger college kids. I did enjoy the few places we visited to eat. The parking was horrible, We received no directions and it took us an hour to find someone to check in… I was left with two keys and no directions. I managed and once the sun came up an employee at the front desk named Craig was very helpful. The bed was so uncomfortable I would recommend getting a new more comfortable mattress for the amount we paid. All in all we made the best of it and everything else was okay. Lastly no TV directions I had to purchase Netflix on my own. This was not the best stay provided by Expedia. I was disappointed.

As long as you read communications ahead of time, I don’t see why people are confused. Property is in excellent location, views are amazing. It is an apartment complex, so the amenities are very nice.

The room was big , beds cpmfortable but the airn onditionner did not work and the room stayed warm the whole teip which was disappointing. The facilities were great and accessible . The syaff was not very helpfull to help us find the parking or fix the A/C

First off, a few minor improvements on their communication could GREATLY improve the ongoing issues people report. Second the washer and dryer stopped working in the middle of the first wash leaving me with a heap of wet clothes to wring out and try to air dry throughout the apartment. Called after hours emergency number and they said a repair person would be out next day….we stayed three days and never saw anyone and could not get ahold of anyone by chat message, email or phone. Although the unit is in an apartment, the staff do not respond as it is a type of rental and they are only there for the full-time residents. So you’re out of luck since the company itself that rents the unit doesn’t respond. Having a wash washer and dryer to do laundry was the whole reason why I rented this place. Other more minor issues included several light lightbulbs out in the bathroom, the bathtub drained so slowly that you have to stand in water ankle deep by the end of a shower. One positive was the neighborhood. Being by the harbor was scenic. The amenities for the apartment complex were available, although most were in the neighboring building so you had to walk across the street. But still nice to have access. Also good access to the subway.
