Hyperion City Hotel

Positive - gorgeous hotel, modern with lovely pool area where you can have drinks from your sunbeds, large comfortable room with lovely sea view balcony, friendly staff. Central and walkable but still very quiet in the rooms at night. Negatives - lots of our towels were stained unfortunately, which was strange, and no hair conditioner provided (but shampoo and shower gel was). Also not many hot vegetarian options on the buffet breakfast, often cooked items always included meat.

Fabulous hotel with fantwstic access to all that chania offers

This was the perfect place to explore Chania from. The hotel was indeed perfect. The rooms were spacious by European standards, they were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had and were indeed super friendly! Breakfast was great. The only negative was we couldn’t secure a carpark within the hotel but we were partly to blame as I didn’t prebook a space. We did however manage to find parking opposite the hotel most nights. Regardless, this hasn’t deterred me from giving it 5/5. Well done to all the staff. Thanks

Just leaving the Hyperion hotel now on our way to Malta . The Hyperion hotel was fantastic from check in with Stephanos to checkout . The room 304 was spacious , clean and luxurious with great views from the balcony , air conditioning once you worked out the controls was great . Breakfast was ideal with a lot of choices. The pool was Ideal with great bar service . The best thing about the Hyperion was its closeness to the beach and all the restaurants along the boulevard. The old town is only 10 mins walk . Definitely would stay here again. Thanks to all the staff , unfortunately I’m not good at remembering names .

Very quality property for the price I think it was great value very clean very stylish and very friendly staff. I could not ask for more.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel!!! The rooms are very comfortable and in a good location. But the highlight of all was the stuff that is so friendly and helpful. Thank you we are coming back in our next visit.

Very modern and comfortable facilities, that made our stay very enjoyable. Great location close to the see an d the Venetian port , with lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Rich breakfast.

We had the best stay at Hyperion. The front desk was super friendly and helpful, assisting us with anything we needed, including a taxi to the airport. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the morning complimentary breakfast has a nice selection. The hotel is in a great spot, walkable to old town, but far enough away that it’s not overly crowded or loud. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay, friendly staff at front desk, area is walkable! Only complaint is that the elevators have no AC and are slow so it’s quite hot in there but that’s such a small complaint overall wonderful stay

We were here for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. I mainly picked this hotel because it had parking for our rental car. The hotels closer to old town area did not. The only downside was it was a little farther of a walk to get to old town but not terrible. The parking is a small, underground, and secure parking lot with limited parking and is 10 euros a night. (I am sure they had a good laugh watching on camera while we did our 22 point turn maneuver into our specified parking space - lol) Would recommend making sure you reserve a spot if needed during booking to ensure you have one. We utilized their laundry service and had no issues. Room was good size and clean with large balcony overlooking the water. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions and arranged our early morning taxi to the airport. We had the pleasure of meeting Petros the barkeep. He was very helpful and friendly. Let us charge our phones at the bar while we were visiting with him. Great gentleman and is a true benefit to this hotel. This hotel met all our needs and would highly recommend!
