Kingsford Hotel Manila Bay

First of all, we’ve been here before because it’s convenient for overnight stay and they offer free airport transfer. So during our trip we had booked twice, and I am writing a complaint after the second visit. We booked the Deluxe room with breakfast this time compared to the executive suite we had the first time. Out biggest issues are that the toilet was stinky, almost like canal smell. Walls are not soundproof, so had to listen to the tv next door all night when we just wanted to sleep. We had room service and the food was tasteless. Then the next day, we went down for breakfast just before checking out and there was about 30 mins wait to go in. Never have we experienced this staying in a hotel so that really just ruined our stay especially because we paid for it. Of course we couldn’t wait 30 mins because we had a flight to catch. Other than that, staff are helpful and walking distance to Okada if you wanted to visit.

Perfect staycation - get away from QC. Food, clean rooms, strong water, quiet perfect for a 2 day stay. will come back again.

Excellent location, speeedy check-in and check-out process because of the efficient valet service. We slept well after adjusting the room aircon. Extensive buffet breakfast. But the sculptures inside the glass cases in the restaurant look like cancerous tumors and intestinal polyps, not very conducive to enjoying your meal, lol.

Disappointing check-in experience. My Engine reservation clearly stated that breakfast is included, but the front desk initially insisted they were not and advised me to pay and seek reimbursement later. I had to repeatedly show my confirmation before the issue was addressed. The situation caused unnecessary stress and put a damper on the start of our stay. I hope the hotel improves communication between third-party bookings and front desk staff.

Service is very poor; receptionist does not want to help at all. I booked this hotel mainly for my family so we could have a good time before departing again for so many years. I made mistake for booking 1 person each room and I booked 5 rooms, but receptionist was rude and don't want to help so I just let it go. Will never stay here again.
