love citizenM, no matter what city, but San Francisco is especially nice because of Lorenzo and Riser. I met Lorenzo last year and hoped to see him again. He was there and made me feel welcome and appreciated as did Riser. Both these fellows are a credit to the hotel and the city.

A fantastic hotel — perfectly located right next to the BART station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well-sized, ideal for solo travelers or couples. The real highlight, though, is the staff. Everyone was wonderfully attentive and genuinely happy to help at any moment. A special thank you to the manager María and to Kitty — they made me feel completely at home. Truly exceptional people! The breakfast is a proper meal, and the communal space for working or unwinding during happy hour is excellent. Highly recommend!

Ultra modern and high-tech and very clean. Rooms are small, but stylish. Very nice bar and lounge on the third floor.

Pretty close to the tenderloin, and parking is expensive, but that’s kind of how it is in Union Square. Plus the parking garage is literally right next to the hotel.
