Etéreo, Auberge Collection

Beautiful modern resort with very attentive staff (special shout out to Denisse) that made our stay enjoyable. There was a noxious smell at the beach, likely from sargassum or mangroves, and we had one unpleasant dining experience due to seafood not being fresh.

We loved our time at Etereo in August of 2025. The property was in off-season, but there was nothing "off" about the attentiveness of staff, restaurant offerings, pools (both for adults only and kids alike) and accommodations. Being an Auberge resort, we are not surprised in the least. We are already planning our next trip there next year. Beach was pristine and seaweed was under control. Pools were outstanding and the drink/food selections were second to none. One of my favorite resorts in North American.

Everyone and everything was amazing!! . The staff was all extremely friendly and made our experience 10/10. Some people that stood out were Oscar (server for breakfast one morning and our bartender at cheche one evening). He helped us learn about the history of mezcal while being interactive with us. He was also very kind and thoughtful. Louis, are bartender one night at Itzam, was also incredible and friendly. Gabi at CheChe was also wonderful. We also has a server at the pool every day (cannot remember his name but he was at the pool most of our stay) but he always made sure our drinks and food were perfect and seemed to always know what we wanted (aka made wonderful margaritas for us)! All of our servers at every restaurant were fantastic!!! A perfect experience

This was one of the best stays I've experienced at any resort or hotel. The service was personalized (everyone knew my name!) and very attentive, without being intrusive. All of the facilities were in top-notch condition, and the atmosphere everywhere was peaceful. Even the iguana's were chill. We will definitely be back, and will stay at other Auberge properties.

From the moment we arrived at Auberge Etéreo, we knew we were in for something extraordinary. We were greeted with a Shaman energy cleanse that set the tone for our stay—grounding us in the magic and spirit of this place. The hospitality of the entire team was second to none. Every interaction felt genuine, warm, and personal. Our room was stunning, the grounds were immaculately kept, and everywhere we turned there was beauty—whether it was the pristine beach, the mangroves swaying in the breeze, or the breathtaking starry skies we enjoyed while lying on the nets above the mangroves. Our days were filled with unforgettable experiences: snorkeling from a sailboat, an epic intro to diving for our adventurous 7-year-old daughter, and the incredible kids club led by the wonderful Ruby—who instantly made her feel like family. Guia Roi made sure every detail of our stay was perfect, while Luis turned our taco tasting and Abruello dining experiences into memories we’ll cherish. Juan and Julian gave us the most memorable snorkeling and diving adventure, full of wonder and discovery. One of the most special moments was creating spiritual bracelets with the Mayan Shaman—a beautiful and meaningful connection to the culture and spirit of this place. To the entire Auberge Etéreo team—you should be so proud of what you’ve built here. Every detail, every smile, and every thoughtful gesture is noticed and deeply appreciated. This was truly the most amazing resort experience we’ve ever had, and we cannot thank you enough for the magic you created for our family.

We had an amazing long weekend at Etereo. We traveled as a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 children), celebrating a birthday. From booking through check-out, the service, staff, food, and accomodations were impeccable. Our room was even decorated with balloons and a cake for the children. As Amex cardholders, we received fabulous room upgrades and breakfast credit. We enjoyed the pool, spa, and children's club! The "kids eat free" promotion was fantastic for our 2 girls - unlimited fries, chicken tenders, and popsicles :) Soooo many staff contributed to our experience! We are grateful to everyone at Etero - the faces that welcomed us so warmly, the team that keeps the grounds pristine, the responsive housekeeping team, and the friendly restaurant and bar staff. -Aracely - Thank you for your quick and thoughtful communication and comprehensive planning! Because of you, we were able to simply show up and have a great stay. -Aideli and Roi - Thanks for making us feel special from the moment we arrived and for being responsive to our needs during the entire stay. -We didn't catch the name of the person who performed the traditional ceremony and morning blessings each day. However, he was so welcoming that we have to acknowledge him - thank you! He played the flutes for the girls whenever they asked! He also provided a beautiful stone necklace to them upon departure. Property is beautiful and conveniently laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Great gym. Would have liked more dining options and pricing is somewhat excessive especially for food and drinks at the pool. Definitely recommend Casa Abuela. The staff was super efficient and could not have been nicer.
