Truly wonderful experience. Roiser and the guia team made our anniversary trip so very special. This was one of our top 3 stays - impeccable hospitality and attention to detail throughout. We had an absolutely amazing time at Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtful, intentional, and deeply appreciated. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience completely met—and even exceeded—our expectations. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel both fully relaxed and genuinely taken care of, but Etéreo delivered on all fronts. The staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive, and every aspect of the resort felt curated to create an experience of true ease and luxury. Alvaro, Luis, Daniel, Oscar, and Itzel made our stay extra special. We returned home feeling renewed and already dreaming about our next Auberge stay. This trip confirmed it for us: we only want to vacation at Auberge properties from now on!

Probably the best resort in Mexico. Striking design, designed with Mayan culture in mind, human sized resort with superb suites, tastefully decorated. A true peace haven.

We just returned from a magical stay at Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever had. We originally planned a 4-night stay with our two young kids (ages 6 and 4) and ended up extending because we simply didn’t want to leave. Every aspect of the resort is designed with care, intention, and heart. From the moment you arrive and are welcomed with a short Mayan ceremony and a personal “guía” for your stay, you know you’re somewhere special. Check-in happens in your room (a much-appreciated touch in the summer heat), and the thoughtful welcome gifts for both kids and adults set the tone immediately. We were generously upgraded to a one-bedroom ocean-view suite with a bonus “sunset room”—a dream setup for a family. The design is stunning—natural, tranquil, and luxurious without feeling overdone. Each space feels curated, calming, and connected to the surrounding nature. The food is exceptional. The resort celebrates Mexican cuisine in its most authentic and elevated form. We had the pleasure of attending their Cena de Abuela dinner, which featured heirloom family recipes from around the country—served with warmth, pride, and incredible flavor. One morning, after I complimented the sweet bread, the pastry chef personally came out to share his baking tips with me. Moments like that made the experience feel intimate and personal. The staff are what truly set this place apart. Their service philosophy seems to be built around one guiding principle: never say no. Every request was met with a smile and an eagerness to help. They remembered our preferences, anticipated our needs, and treated our kids with as much care and attention as they did us. We discovered hidden gems like a quiet pier with starfish and crystal-clear water after chatting with the team during a rainstorm—proof that even rainy days can be full of magic when you’re in the right hands. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and full of gratitude. Etéreo is not just a hotel—it’s a feeling, a memory, a place we can’t wait to return to.

Feels private and exclusive for quiet vacation together. Room was gorgeous, staff super friendly, food superb. Property small enough that the pool and beach were never crowded.

I had a wonderful stay at Etéreo, it didn’t disappoint! This really feels like a tropical oasis and it was so hard to leave! The service was impeccable and our room was beautiful. This is a small resort compared to some others in the area but I really loved this aspect of it. It was a quick walk to everything, no waiting around for someone to pick you up on a golf cart like other resorts. Both the restaurants were delicious and had plenty of vegetarian options for our 4 night stay. We were going to try one of the nearby hotel’s restaurants but couldn’t pull ourselves away from the great food at Etéreo. The adult pool was a highlight for us, it was the best pool service we have encountered on all our travels. Shout out to Daniel who was so attentive! The beach did have some sargassum but this was to be expected in July and the hotel did a wonderful job cleaning up what they could. They had an excellent beach set up, lots of white sand and plenty of comfortable chairs. I am looking forward to my next trip back to paradise!

Took a quick 3-night trip with our teens (19, 13, 13) to Etereo. We loved our spacious suite; the balconies, views, and decor were amazing. The room felt peaceful and brand new, like we were the first to stay in it. The food was loved by everyone in our family (which isn't easy to do!), every meal was fresh and delicious! Every trip to the pool and beach we were greeted with cold waters, fresh towels, and exceptional service (and always plenty of available loungers). Our family enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and volleyball at the beach. Left the resort for the Cenote experience, highly recommend. We will forever be comparing all other vacations to this one!

I can't believe it took me almost a year to write this review. Hotel Etereo is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. First of all, you are greeted by the lovliest people and a conch is blown to announce your arrival. You are immediately escorted to a shaman to give you a blessing and cleansing which is much needed after traveling. You are then escorted directly to your room where you complete the very brief check in process. We were upgraded to a very large suite when we arrived that had so much room, we didn't know what to do with it! Everyone who works there is super friendly and learns your name immediately so you feel like a celebrity everywhere you go. The pool areas are super nice and feels very private the way it is all laid out. The food was phenomenal every place we ate at. Highly recommend abuela's dinner if they still have it. I think I ate myself into a food coma and think about that experience often. The beach wasn't the best and the water was only about ankle deep so not much for swimming but we did take a boat to the reef to go snorkeling and had a magical experience swimming with the tropical fish and even two sea turtles. I nearly cried! My husband and I mainly relaxed around the hotel and especially enjoyed the kids pool because it was like our own private pool. The service was top notch especially Carlos at the pool who made sure we always had what we needed and when I asked for Aloe he provided a HUGE tub of it! We even took advantage of the complimentary photography session which my husband wasn't thrilled about but now we have amazing photos that remind me of what a great time we had there. We hope to return again very soon.

Absolutely a gem, paradise, perfect getaway retreat. Beautiful resort and rooms. Perfect amenities. Loved the yoga studio and variety of fitness classes. Jesus and victor were wonderful instructors. Most precious and caring staff truly everyone but shout out to our wonderful Guia concierge guides, Emmanuel and Ricardo. So pleasant and caring. The cleaning crew and room service people were all wonderful. Restaurant staff were absolutely fabulous. Pool service was amazing Juan Carlos and Daniel were too attentive. Most fabulous management team lead by Laura who checked on us multiple times. One little highlight of the trip was the jewelry work shop lead by Kevin the shaman truly a memorable experience.

I came here to unwind and it was better than expected. My room was beautiful with a relaxing zen feel, just what I was needing.
