Barceló Lanzarote Royal Level

We arrived at 11 am on the 12/10/25 , excellent reception assistant , telling us everything about the hotel , and where everything was .we stayed on the royal level side of the hotel , our room wasn’t ready unfortunately, but I think that was to be expected, they took or contact details and arranged to call us once everything was in place , we left our cases in a secure room and had a look round and a cold one , at 14:30 they called and took our cases to the room . Accommodation The room was lovely and clean with a king size bed 2 tv,s one in the bedroom and lounge , the mini bar was fully stocked and was stocked with water every day , there are bath robes and plenty of towels , nice lighting, and a lovely balcony Restaurants The main restaurant was lovely and modern and had a nice feel, the staff was very friendly and attentive and the food had a excellent variety for breakfast, lunch , and dinner with freshly cooked meats every evening, breakfast was superb with proper sausages and back bacon if that’s your thing , (it’s the small details)also a lunch style snack bar that did a great variety of different foods Pool bar This was great they did lovely toasties and a variety of salads and nachos which was great also great variety of beers and cocktails and ciders , sun bed towels were available from the rear of the pool bar as many as you like Main bar The main bar was excellent with a extensive stock of beers and ciders and cocktails which was made by the very experienced staff , could not fault at all Pools There were numerous pools spread across all the site and all were great not overcrowded at all Very pleasant place would book again no hesitation

Not a royal experience at all! We have stayed here before, but this time it was awful. Very long waits for check in due to only 1 desk open and each check in taking 15-20 minute. It would have been far better and faster to use the regular ‘active’ level, desks. We were told we couldn’t have an early check in and had to wait until 3pm to check in (having arrived at 10am). They had no day rooms available, so we spent a hot day waiting around. Our room was ready just after 3pm and was NOT worth the wait. Despite booking a Delux Junior Suite we were on the ground floor at the furthest back right hand corner of the ‘royal’ building. Entering our room looked like walking into a janitor’s cupboard. The room was tired with marks that looked like makeup on the doors and the shower had mould in it! The air conditioning couldn’t cool the room and it was so hot I spent a lot of time sitting on the sofas in the lobby instead of the room! (I have lived in the Middle East and travelled widely so am not normally bothered by the heat, but this was awful!). The view from our half sized balcony (compared to other rooms!) was of the local industrial area, 2 giant wind turbines and a mini oi/gasl refinery / storage area. The sea was visible but only standing in the right spot and looking over the road!!! Almost every room room in the hotel, including the far cheaper active ones had better locations. At 6am we were woken my the bangs and shouts of the cleaner/delivery drivers and their trolleys/ bins on the other side of our wall. Impossible to sleep through. We asked to change rooms and offer to pay for an alternative but were told none were available. We asked to the air conditioning to be fixed but no one came and they closed the ‘request’. A very ‘unroyal’ experience that we don’t plan to repeat and I recommend you go elsewhere.

Poor location, next to an ugly factory. Royal level not as good as barcelo Tenerife. Very kind staff

I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. The room were clean and to a very good standard. The hotel itself has good facilities, and a well equipped gym across the road.

We have just come back from spending 10 wonderful days at Barcelo Royal Level Hotel in Costa Teguise. It was amazing, beautiful large bedroom and first class bathroom with waterfall shower, large fluffy towels and robes and slippers. The views were of the sea and overlooking the pools… We were on the 5 th floor near the lift .. perfect if you have difficulties walking at times. The staff were very attentive. The food was excellent and plentiful with good choices, occasionally could have done with being hotter .. but that won’t stop me from returning Looking forward to it already

Great hospitality from start to finish. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The food at the restaurants and dining rooms was delicious and well presented. Staff were attentive and friendly, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Luca from the animation team is first class. We have had so much fun during the activities day and night. ☆☆☆☆☆ Keep shining bright Luca, you are awesome 😉

Back again for another fab holiday. The staff at the royal level really do make a massive difference to the stay and always remember us as returning guests. Special shout out to Yousef who is always smiling and makes the best expresso martinis 🍸 down at the royal pool bar. Can’t wait to come back and see the team again ! Also thanks to Beatrix (sorry if I spelt it wrong) on royal reception who is amazing and to Eva for her energy and keeping us busy

The room was always lovely and clean The Royal Level food was amazing and always so much choice The staff were always helpful and welcoming
