The Bay Suites - Entertainment Dist

A bit pricey. Great location. The room we got had a damaged warped hardwood floor that was covered with sections of carpets. Quite unsafe and hard on the feet!!!!

This is not a hotel, the bay suites is renting out apartments. This means there is no front desk to help you with any issues. Our tv was broken, i had to text maintenance for help and was left on read. They refused to drop by the room at ahy point during my two day stay. Also, the apartment was in much rougher shape than the photos, with some furniture even being completly different than the photos (like a completly different couch). The hotel promised black out blinds, which were not available (there were only super thin curtains that did nothing to stop light), and the coffee machine was missing parts making it unusable. This place does not feel like a cozy hotel, it is a rough apartment and you are on your own if u run into issues. I dont reccomend. Feels like a scam and felt bad to be there

The check-in is not difficult they just need to provide the check in information. When I went to check-in I had only a conformation email that I payed but no information on how to check-in which I was told they would send it to me over email with in 24hrs before check-in. They didn’t and I had to reach out to get the information. Made check in stressful for no reason. It seemed that other people in the lobby were also having the same problem (like 3 different groups of people). Other than that the stay was okay, nothing crazy and the building is close to a lot of sites which is good

14 York St is a condominium complex and not a hotel. The building lobby said to contact Expedia for a room number and Expedia would only give me a confirmation number. So I ended up driving home and not staying. Building/address was difficult to find and there is no parking.

The enail sent to register had instructions to make a deposit payment. I somehow missed this, thats on me. However, i received no follow up reminder and they cancelled my reservation. I messaged a coupleof times giving well before the scheduked stay with no replies. The day before our check in i called to find out our check in info and wastildI wouldget it the day of check in. The daynof our stay arrived and when i called for information was informed they had canceled our reservation.

Conveniently located near lakefront, Rogers Ctr, Scotiabank Arena & public transit

Was very excited for this hotel and trip as a whole, called the hotel the day before and asked if I could check in early, I was given the ok to go in and drop off my luggage even if the room wasn’t ready when I arrived ( I was coming from NY ). I get to the front desk asking to check in and the staff just point at a tablet for me to sign in on, which everything is on the computer now a days. I go through the steps and it asks for my room number, I ask them how I’m supposed to know that if I’m just now checking in, they tell me I have to call wherever I booked the hotel through which was Expedia. I asked them again to clarify they couldn’t give me my room number or keys by looking up my name or phone or anything and they told me no. I’ve never heard of this before. I called Expedia and they had no idea what I was talking about and had no idea how they were supposed to have that information. I then called the hotel itself which led me to a guy who then sent me an email with my room number, WiFi and password and all of the other necessary information. Very ass backwards. I then proceed to sign in and make it up to my room and the housekeeper wasn’t done ( I was already aware she wouldn’t be, not an issue she was the only nice worker in the building) I got into the room and it was a lot smaller than the pictures made it seem, the floor was also all messed up and bulging in the middle of the walkway and I repeatedly stumbled over it. I don’t recommend and won’t be returning.

Fantastic place to stay! Great studio condo on the 46th floor.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful, the staff hosting us was incredibly polite. Cleanliness is highly important and this suite was impeccably fresh!! The location is 10/10 for sports watching, shopping, and concert venues! We will 100% be booking again for our next trip!
