Sapa Cat Cat Hills Resort & Spa

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience, and the scenery was excellent. However, they are quite strict about check‑in and check‑out times. Early check‑in requires an additional fee, and even requesting a 15‑minute extension at check‑out was difficult, which felt a bit rigid.

The location is stunning. The room was clean and cozy. The only part that felt a bit uncomfortable was the process for getting on the buggy. We had to wait over 40 minutes on the first night to take us to our rooms because there was no queue system or staff around at that time, and people were rushing to get on. A clearer process would really help make things smoother and more comfortable for arriving guests. Thankfully, Mr. Colin Hoang, the operations manager, was incredibly attentive and helpful. He made sure everything was sorted quickly and checked in to ensure we were comfortable. His professionalism and warmth really stood out and made the stay feel more personal. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

I came here for 4D3N trips with my friends. The weather and atmosphere is amazing. I choose for Panorama View room and everything was perfect. All the amenities are well maintained also. Even though there was a bit of inconvenience happened during our check in, Mr.Colin made everything perfect all along during our stay. He is very friendly and responsive. He helped us with all of our requests and we were truly enjoyed staying there with his service. Will definitely come back. He’s the best!!! Thank you Mr.Colin Hoang~

Our stay at Cat Cat Hills Resort was a mix of positives and disappointments. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, and well-kept, and most of the staff are polite and welcoming. We especially want to highlight Louis, who went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable—his attentiveness and warm attitude really stood out and made a big difference. On the other hand, we had a less pleasant experience with Ms. Trinh Nguyen. Before booking, she was accommodating, but after we confirmed, our requests for an easy-access room (important for a senior and a baby traveling with us) were disregarded. This lack of consideration felt quite rude and almost ruined our stay. Overall, the resort itself is lovely, and we appreciate the efforts of staff like Louis, but management should ensure consistency in service so that all guests feel equally respected and cared for.

CatCat resort was memorable due to the excellent service of staff member Louis. He was excellent in advising us best sites to visit and best tours, he also helped us book everything which made our stay there quite enjoyable. On leaving the resort we misplaced our passports and when we arrived in Ninh Binh, Louis helped us to search everywhere at the resort to the extent of going to the restaurant we last ate at. Louis makes CatCat the best option in Sapa.

Really loved this resort – very comfortable, beautiful scenery, and great service. Especially impressed with Louis, his service was excellent!

Very nice place and great view of the valley Great staff and service

We booked 2 nights of the Panorama room in Sapa Catcat Hills Resort expecting a nice unobstructed view of the mountains. Our communication with their receptionist Luna via whatsapp was really commendable. She helped us book the bus to Sapa, as well as transport from the hotel to Rong May Glass Bridge. She helped us book the bus back to Hanoi as well even though we are already staying in a different resort. Luna is a stellar staff! However on our first day/night, we were assigned a panorama room with a tree blocking some of the views. While I understand that we may be the last one to check in having arrived to Sapa at 4pm, we hoped that they would be transparent if a room had an obstructed view. Unfortunately they didn't have another room to transfer us to. Although they were able to transfer us to a better room for the second day, we felt we wasted the extra money for the first day. We should've just booked a the cheaper non-panorama view. We're still giving 4 starts because of Luna and the awesome breakfast place. While the selection of the food was entirely the same for the 2 days we were there, except for a couple of main dish, we didn't mind it considering the serene view. Some tips: -go breakfast place early to catch the best seats by the window -if you have a schedule to keep, call the receptionist to request for a buggy at least 5-10 mins so you will not get delayed. -Grab is a nice cheap option to get to the town at only 30-50k vnd per way. -If you are arriving late, make sure to communicate beforehand to give you room with unobstructed view.

What a disappointment, I booked early and asked for adjoining rooms because I have my kids with me, and I got notification from the hotel to my requirements and when I arrived late and tired found that they put us in a far away rooms which they didn't care to apologise or rectified they didn't care the only thing the receptionist care about is to sleep and wait for the manager to come next morning. It didn't stop at that the room was awful the bathroom door was broken and the sink was filled with water. The breakfast is limited and the chief was priorities the locals over the foreigners with orders. I am surprised with the 5 stars ratings are they staying in a different hotel than this!!! I believe they lack suitable management who understands the culture customer service.
