Auld Sweet Olive Bed and Breakfast

The Auld Sweet Olive Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to stay in New Orleans. We stayed here for a bachelorette party and had the best time! Jonell was so sweet (and fashionable!), and her breakfast each morning was delicious. She was so thoughtful and made us feel at home. Steve was also so kind and helpful. The rooms were immaculate, and the beds were so comfortable. We especially enjoyed lounging in the pool to cool off. The location was also perfect. We easily could walk to take a short drive to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and the Swamp Tours. We highly recommend staying here instead of a hotel. You get the best experience and meet the kindest people.

Auld Sweet Olive is a fantastic Bed & Breakfast ran by great and caring people. I've been coming to New Orleans for over 20 years and can say this was my favorite stay by far. I was looking for a full B&B rental for my Bachelor Party and Auld Sweet Olive pulled out all of the stops to make it an incredible weekend. Jonell was always available for a call for planning, questions, or any need we had. Once we got here, Jonell was super receptive to handling a big group of rowdy guys, even though she runs a 5 star place with spotless rooms and amazing food. No matter what you're looking for - a fun spot for a large group, or just a great room in a nice and quiet tucked away neighborhood near the best parts of the city - Auld Sweet Olive is your place to go. The breakfast is top notch and the pool and patio provide a little oasis from the heat. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Enjoyed every minute! Delicious breakfasts, airy and large common space, gorgeous patio and pool area. Our room had a door directly to the pool deck. Nice amenities in our room. Very relaxing stay! Innkeeper, Jonell, is so welcoming and attentive to her guests.

Outstanding experience start to finish. Beautiful grounds and room, with wonderfully attentive and friendly staff. A great neighborhood, conveniently located to take advantage of all that NOLA has to offer. Would, and likely will, do it all again.

We've been going to Jazzfest since the late '90s and we've always stayed in the French Quarter. This time we decided to stay near Frenchmen Street and that's how we found Sweet Olive's. What a fabulous find! A beautiful home with lovely rooms, a gorgeous pool, spacious front porch which we enjoyed relaxing in the cushy chairs and watching people go by. Breakfast is homemade and served in the communal dining room, where you can also find snacks and water all day. Jonell is your hostess with the mostess, she takes care of everything with a beautiful smile on her face at all times. If you're lucky, Steve will stop by and tell you some fun stories. We are planning to always stay here when we come to New Orleans, we really loved everything about it.

Room was clean and quiet. Curtains on the 4-poster bed were a nice touch to block out unavoidable light from the outside. Owner was incredibly responsive to any requests. Breakfast was good each day. Close to street car line.

Lovely owner, friendly and accommodating. Lovely freshly prepared breakfast each morning. Pool and hot tub to chill in and around. Safe neighborhood to walk around, cafes and bars close by, French quarter walkable.

The B&B was clean, comfy and cozy with amble gathering spaces for our large group. While we enjoyed the property, Jonell made the stay an experience! Jonell took such good care of our group, going above and beyond with a big happy smile :)
