Kivu Hilltop View Resort

Kivu Hilltop view EXCEEDED my expectations! The resort was beautiful and my room was stunning. It felt like a mini apartment and was spotless. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I got an upgrade on my arrival and the lady at reception kindly helped me organize for my transport to my next location. Staff did all they could to make my stay what it was and it was very much appreciated!! This stay was very much worth what I spent!! I always enjoy a location that exceeds my expectations than paying way to much for what is received. Thankyou to you all! :)

Wifi was a little patchy at times and didn’t work in the room but it happens and encouraged me to be offline and enjoy what I had for the night. Zero complaints!!

The staff's hospitality, checked on me in the morning to ask estimation of my arrival which I appreciated. The room service is on point and the food is amazing at a fair price. The internet was good. i did a 2hours and half interview with no internet cut.

A bigger TV screen would bring a much better experience.

Breakfast was nice with a beautiful view to the Kivu Lake on the rooftop. The personal was very helpful for anything! The restaurant offered very nice food and once the manager was so nice to invite me for dinner! In the night you can sleep with open window (they have an insect screen) and still you sleep well because there is little noise of the street.

There could be bedside lamps - because reading in the evening or going to the bathroom in the night is not comfortable.

Excellent location, staff, massive room and clean; superb breakfast, always looking forward to it, especially on the Hilltop view overlooking lake Kivu.

Limited television channels, especially no major international news channels such as the BBC, CNN, Aljazera, Sky news etc; and a very poor WiFi network.
