Auténtico Vertical Playa del Carmen

Excellent property, great location.

Friendly front desk. Nice location. Room setup was compact but good. Deficiencies I reported were not completely addressed. Ac unit was repaired but,the drawers under the desktop that did not stay closed was not. That was a safety hazard, that wasn't repaired. Cleaning was not great. There was mold in the shower, and the towels were not all replaced consistently. The bathroom ceiling looked to be moldy. The lounge on the 6th floor is great place to relax. The Hotel is located on a busy street so ther is a bit of traffic noise. Rental bike was nice.

Great location very near the best part of the strip in my opinion - 38 Calle. Nice and quiet, although the hallways can be noisy when other guests are moving about. No sound insulation. Modern rooms, strong AC with remote control, fridge with tiny freezer, hair dryer, rain shower head, comfy bed - zero complaints about the room. The water stopped working a few times - one time was fairly inconvenient for me. However, it was fixed both times fairly quickly. It’s a very compact building, super tight hallways and stairways, only one person can pass. Elevator is small but works. Outdoor space on the 4th and 5th floors - I never saw anyone there, not sure why it’s there… Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English. They also have security there all the time and to enter you have to ring a doorbell, so I felt very safe. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome stay

They don’t offer any parking but I parked just outside the door on the street all week and didn’t get a ticket.

I liked the hotel and the area.. Aldrich at the front desk was such a nice, friendly, welcoming person. He always had a smile and a kind word. The hotel was in close proximity to restaurants and shops. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay at this nice quiet boutique hotel

I really liked the service and the aesthetics. My room had no window which freaked me out at first. But I lived the staff, location and room anyhow somehow

It was a nice hotel, location was great, staff amazing and very attentive, helpful when needed it. Only complaint was the jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough and after a while the jets stopped working. Overall I would stay at the hotel again. ☺️
