Renter beware To be clear, this is not a review of the apartment as our staff never actually entered the apartment. This is a summary of the area and what greeted our team upon arrival. The area is not well depicted and photos of the area should really be shown by the landlord or letting agents. Without going into great detail about the area; upon arrival, our team were greeted by groups of youths who were incredibly intimidating. A decision was made that this was not an area where our team felt safe and so, we booked alternate accommodation within Edinburgh. An email to complaints@wheretostay took some time for a response and it was only after we contacted booking.com direct that a response was received. A standard response. Given that out team never entered the apartment, we have requested a refund of the 'cleaning fee'. We are currently awaiting a response. In summary, our experience of this booking was appalling.

It was close enough to Edinburgh city centre

The facilities didn’t work properly, no tv and no wifi. I have since been told after 8pm desire being given a number and email and booking.com to contact no one responds, this is not stated anywhere. So none of the issues raised were resolved. The back door is very dodgy and you feel like you are going to break it anytime you open in. Upon arrival there was a bit break in one of the cupboard doors. It oils definitely not worth the money you are charged for staying here.

My team weren't willing to stay in the apartment as it was not at all as represented on the website and wasn't clean. Having raised this issue with the host and Booking.com I have been ignored. This property was paid for up front in good faith. I have requested a full refund but have been offered only a paltry 20% in respect of the dangerous wires which were by the TV. I am out of pocket having had to book an alternative accommodation for my team. Avoid this property.

Maybe it has a good quality/price in Edinburgh... but bit high for french people... Small changes such as renewing kitchen utensils or chairs can bring big comfort.

It wasn’t the best.

Needed a simple flat for a few of us to stay in for my birthday weekend and this one was perfect. Every basic amenity that we needed and a place to socialise during the day before heading out.

WiFi didn’t seem to connect on my phone, has 2 different passwords on notes in the living room but neither worked for me

Apartments was very unclean, needs alot of TLC. Fridge did not work for entire time of stay and with authority young family was an extreme inconvenience . Walls and doors were really dirty. Mould in shower and all paint flaking off vanity. No dryer as advertised and no drying rack Which i was told there was . Hot water system kept failing , was primed by owner once but happened 2 more times.
