Cosy Stay In Birmingham by Villazu

I liked the convenience of being 5 minutes walk away from the evening event I was attending. I arrived from Birmingham New Street by West Midlands Tram and a 20 minute walk. I returned on the 101 bus to the city centre. The venue was clean and tidy. Communication via WhatsApp with the venue team was very good. Photos taken just before departure.

I was unfamiliar with the procedure for an apartment like this. There was no-one there to check me in. I paid a £300 deposit which was returned as advertised. I prefer to be around people but there were no local hotels as close.

Everything was oky we cleaned and organised

There were no toiletries in the bathroom to clean

The beds were relatively comfortable

The front door to the property doesn’t even shut never mind lock. It was wide open the whole time and we had to prop an ironing board up against it from the inside to stop it blowing open in the wind. The area didn’t feel the safest. The property wasn’t clean, stains all over the walls and ceilings, dirty mugs and cutlery had been put away. Towels with body hair tangled all in the fibres. There was meant to be 2 extra single beds than advertised in the apartment. The walls are paper thin and we could hear neighbours being obnoxiously loud at 5am every morning.

Great location for us for the eye hospital and the centre etc. had everything we needed, a small place but well thought out and functional.

A little noisy, could hear neighbours conversations but nothing late at night.
