Puri Keraton Seminyak

Location

The property was not so clean, needs improvments, linen and towels were stained. In one badroom the air conditioner does not work. We found a little mouse in the kitchen.

Location, cleaness, friendly staff, room layout

Hot water very slow to start, shower taps not user fiiendly, not power outlet in bathroom, lighting in bathroom poor

The property was clean, included everything we needed for a week long stay. Daily house cleaning was great, beds were comfortable and great location

The shower drain did get full when having a long shower, other than that no faults

The location was a short walk to most things

On arrival the staff grabbed our bags, one of the bags was very heavy with duty free alcohol. My husband asked to carry that bag however the staff insisted on carrying it. The staff dropped the bag and smashed a 1L full bottle of Canadian club. On arrival none of the air conditioning units were on so every room was incredibly hot. 1 remote for the aircon didn’t work. The only room that really cooled down was the down stairs room. The other two rooms remained hot. The photos were misleading, there is no external doors on the villa meaning there was a serious ant and mosquito issue. The beds were hard. There was only 1 pool chair, no pool towels provided. Our neighbours were very noisy and playing loud music until 4am every night despite there being a curfew of 11pm. The towels and linen were stained despite being changed. We had to ask for toilet paper every day. My younger sister attempted to collect our bond on our last day as we had an early flight and was told no. I managed to get the bond back at around 5pm after insisting it was to come back before we flew out. I requested a driver to drive us to the airport at 3:50am, the driver started repeatedly ringing our doorbell from 3:10am. The staff then came inside and checked the mini bars stating we had eaten 2x small chocolate bars from the mini bar that were never there on arrival. I’m not usually one to provide negative feedback however I feel if I knew the above information prior to booking I would have chosen elsewhere.

Lovely villa that catered perfectly for our family. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great location in the heart of Seminyak.

LOVE LOVE the location! We were within walking distance of some delicious cafes, Doppio Pink & Nyaman Gallery, also our street had all the shops you would need, ate at the Gelato store 10mins walk down the right, a few mins bike ride down the road is the main area for shopping and dinner! We also had an exchange at the end of the driveway which was too convenient! we were changing cash whenever we saw higher than 10k. The service at the villa was awesome! always cleaned up, catered and responded immediately and always happy to assist us in any way. We were a larger group with 15 of us in total and they catered to us in any way they could. I would definitely recommend.

Sometimes the front gate was a bit difficult to get locked but i think with housekeeping visiting daily, it was fixed. But that didn't bother us too much because each bedroom had a key as well so we just made sure to lock the bedrooms. However i think towards the end of the trip, we were pretty much leaving everything unlocked because there was always security around anyways and nothing of ours was ever stolen or missing.

It was great having the pool but it seem not to get clean often. The local was great too

That they took out 2 x 3 seater and replaced with 1 3 seater for five adults Reckon that the other couches need to be washed

The location is convenient, the establishment is clean, and the staff is pleasant.

All the staff at the property were lovely and very helpful, cannot fault them. The location is excellent.

Very poor aircon in both upstairs rooms, in one room it felt non existent our daughters were actually sweating trying to go to sleep (aircon in downstairs room very good). No microwave or toaster. Small couch for 5 people. Pool was dirty and we all tried not to put our heads under water or swallow any water while in the pool. Kitchen bin is too small and is in a terrible state, it should be replaced asap. Downstairs toilet was blocked when we arrived and remained so to varying degrees our entire stay. Only 1 key which was inconvenient with 5 people coming and going. Patchy wifi and constant problems with all 3 TVs getting them to work. Bed linen clean but stained, so too bath towels which are an awful dirty white colour. Unable to get 5 bath towels AND 5 pool towels on any given day, wasn't nice reusing wet towels. Photos online do not represent reality, property quite run down. The curtains next to all the toilets are awful, it’s difficult to not touch them, they shouldn’t be there. Quite a few barking dogs at night around the property. The pedestal fan in the open air lounge room was so completely rusted across the whole front of it that we didn’t want to use it even though it was desperately required. It was such an eyesore I had to put it away in a cupboard. We wouldn’t stay here again.
